Lol, I ended up in Cov and Warwick having stitches in my right thumb from a Yam Yam's bike chain, never forget it, 8 stitches. I've been in the Shed end at Chelsea(That's where real Skin heads started) and not felt half as intimidated lol. What happened to you Astute?

Both times going to away games against other brummie clubs. Used to get the special. Most memorable one was a cup game against the yam yams. Got attacked by about every brummie clubs followers on the way. Started with Brum and ended up with battles with WBA. And that was before the game

Not been involved in any particular trouble against Wolves, although i've been on the South Bank a few times as a neutral 'quietly cheering for the away team) and admittedly it's not a nice place.

However i fail to see how any of our historical battles with Wolves will stop me walking to the ground from the pub on the 26th. I'm sure it will be a bit lively but chances are i'm not going to get a bike chain round the head.

That's right; avoid the question but instead post insult.

Quick question Andreas; why do you come on the forum? It appears to simply entertain yourself by being as condescending and obnoxious as possible. Do you actually attend games, or just wum it up on here for your own gratification. Just find it bizarre; do you behave this way to fellow fans at games, or are you a fan at all (probably the latter).

No doubt I will be subjected to your usual brand of charmless sledgehammer wit as a response. Fine.

Bit of a rhetorical question there Monners. Slightly perturbed that you are questioning my Fan credentials. I mean, it's a labour of love being on here trying to talk sense with all you people.

Predictable response. Meaningless insults is what you do isn't it. Are you as ignorant to people when you you meet them in person? Offered before to meet up before a game for a pint and discuss the footie, but you didn't respond. I live in Northampton so easy enough for me to pop up to the Sixfields Tavern, but you don't know where the town is I suspect.

Very rarely swear at anybody - but you a a grade a [Expletive Deleted] Happy to say to your face anytime.

Piss off.

I do the "2-55pm charge" from the pub to the ground every home game, and at that time there's barely more than 5 people on the hill (i guess they are still in the pub). So how you can summarise that people can't look you in the eyes, when most of them are already in the ground, i'll never know.

Just let the attendees make their choice, and everyone else make theirs. Personally it's gonna be a nightmare at the Wolves match. We will be heavily outnumbered, and they will most likely be milking their inevitable promotion, and ripping the piss out of our current situation. As hard as it will be to stomach, i'll be behind the goal as ever, in the faint hope that we pull off a win and i can ram their comments right down their throats!

Just remember, the sixfields attendees are the most active group this season. 600/1000/1300/whatever home fans each week, and making up a fair proportion of the die-hard away support. People on the hill 10/30/52/whatever..... what's everybody else doing? Protesting by staying at home? very convenient.

some like me will protest by staying away until we are back in cov with new owners its gone way to far now sorry you don't feel you can assist in getting them back so i can join you in watching my team

So many opposing viewpoints and some just don't want to accept what another feels is his right.

Frankly to protest something well then you must formulate a protest that suits everybody so that everybody would take part.
That being said we need a protest to make a statement loud enough to get noticed or the effort is lost.
So what could we do that fits those parameters?

I made a suggestions several months ago and will say it again.
The most obvious protest is that everyone who would normally have gone up the Ricoh to watch the City play do so again en masse.
I'd be perfectly willing to do this on a match day when they are playing at Sixfields.
Imagine mobilising 10,000 supporters to attend the Ricoh outside in the car parks for 90 minutes?
For those with views either or against SISU/Council/ACL or whatever this suits everyone.
The council and ACL will see what could have been and serve a reminder of the potential for having the club back at the Ricoh. The club (SISU) will learn that the fans are there and ready if only they got themselves back there?

Now that's a protest I'd support.

Totally agree

I think I must be the dick head self righteous twat, who saw some of the fans that are known to me look down as they walked down the path. Which was at 2.40 when we left F & B restaurant. No idea why unless they are ashamed to go in. Why not hold their head high ,and speak to me just like a few good mates who go in did.

Could it just be you are reading far too much into innocent mannerisms? Life isn't a soap opera where every body movement is deliberate.

A bloke once winked at me at the Ricoh, meaning 90% of people that go into the Ricoh wanted to have sex with me in the toilets I reckon. Or maybe he was just blinking, not sure.

Is this for real? I wouldn't feel ashamed walking past those on the hill and I'm sure everyone else who goes to Sixfields feels the same. Why? Because we have nothing to be ashamed about. It's all made-up bollocks if you ask me. Just another stick.

i like paxmans idea

get 10k outside ricoh, get the reporters down from SSN etc and show them that the fans are in one place and the club another.

only has to last 15mins to get the required media attention.

Either he has had a very un-exciting regression into a past life where he was a lawyer, instead of an Egyptian Queen or Knight in the Crusades like most have, or, as I thought he meant, that before he did whatever he does now, he was a lawyer.
