What a load of utter rubbish. When the useless entity that are sisu arrived at the club we where a well supported
Championship team. Now we are 7 points off relegation to the lowest tier of the Football League, and oblivion.
We used to have players with a transfer value but they rapidly got sold and did not get replaced. We now have
a bunch of kids trying to compete with seasoned professional's.We cannot even get an experienced striker even
on loan, just more young wannabies hoping to make a name.
We don't even have a stadium in our home City to play our games in,and our pathetic owners are on about
building a toy one again outside of our home City. Clueless came to mind but our owners have left the clueless
far behind with their utter stupidity.
That's not true at all.
We're actually 6 points off relegation
Would be 16 without ACL wankers.
Give 'em some credit mate - they've managed to accelerate a steady decline into a complete freefall.
We've gone from the brink of administration into full blown liquidation, from aiming for promotion in the Championship to avoiding relegation in League 1, and from Coventry to Northampton.
It's not exactly the thrill of the riding a rollercoaster any more, it's more like the grisly compulsion of watching a train crash!
Nothing to do with ACL--It's the morons that did not pay the rent you should blame.
I think the original post has been hijacked somewhat.
I merely suggested that those on here who want the club to fail and some say they even want a phoenix club are now on here bemoaning the fact we have lost a couple and we look like we have missed the playoff push? Surely those people ought to be happy?
So it goes without saying we all love our club regardless of owner? So lets get behind the team then regardless of owner?
Simply waiting for the club to fail completely and wait in hope that new owners would come along is pie in the Sky.
Support what we have and draw a line under the past.
That does not mean going to sixfields if it's not for you but when you come on here be consistent in your views. You either want us to win and succeed or to fail. You can't just moan more when it suits you or when we lose a couple of games.
For what it's worth I support my club and don't really care about the council or ACL. I want the best for my club. Our owners will not be here for ever but the Ricoh will be. Our football club needs to have the Ricoh it was built for. I support the current owners to that end because it's right for my club.
I'll give you three:
1) We have a team of local, young, hungry talent that have the Club at heart and are willing to give their all for it, not old timers looking for a wage.
2) Arguably this season we have played some of the most fantastic Football in recent memory and have scored loads of goals.
3) Our away support has been magnificent, always in huge numbers and always vocal.
Will this suffice?
Not really , but I think I can see what your clutching at .
Young players were brought in ,some times , with no other options probably to keep the wage bill down.
Even with the 10 points we would struggle to get in the play offs for the third division. Hardly fantastic
.One of the reasons we scored so many goals has been sold and not replaced.
I am one of the traveling fans . I'll be at Tranmere on Saturday but if nothing changes b4 next season starts I'll call it a day . Every thing was bearable til they pulled out of the Ricoh , that's when us " magnificent "fans were shit on
"No potential whatsoever" ? Where did that one come from ?Young players were brought in ,some times , with no other options probably to keep the wage bill down." So players like Thomas, Willis, Christie, Wilson and so on have no potential whatsoever there just playing to keep the bills down?
I disagree with the ten point deduction I believe it's one of the reasons we lost Leon Clarke, there would have been more motivation for the players to reach the Play-Offs currently being 12 points off the players know it's probably out of their reach.
So will I, but I posted a picture earlier on the other thread, loyalty is everything and fans should stand by the Club. I don't understand how some fans "will call it a day" until when? When we return to the Ricoh? For Good? Until success is achieved like the missing 15,000 after the JPT Area Final Fixture??

Leon left because of the lost ten points ?
15000 no shows after a glory game , that's football I'm afraid.
Aren't you being a tad negative
Have a few pints at Tranmere . Things will look a lot better
Why insist on consistent views when the situation is too complex for that to be possible, I think most of us have conflicting views, for some they only conflict a little and these people will go to sixfields, for others their views conflict alot.
I think we all want Coventry city to get promoted, none of us want Coventry city to get relegated, we all want coventry city to succeed. yet alot of us also want the move to sixfields to be a disaster, alot of us want terrible crowds at sixfields, to not have games against premiership opposition in the cup, we want the company that has deliberately hurt the fans and the club for their own benefit to fail and to suffer, unfortunately these views conflict heavily, we also feel for the club to succeed in the long run it might need to suffer in the short term to get rid of sisu., it's not really possible these views postive and negative to happen at once and honestly for me at least it kinda spoils the football completely and so for the most part I've just written off this season in my head, I check results but don't go to games.
Good things and bad things both cause me conflicting emotions regarding the club at the moment, there is another thread on what it would take to get you engaged again and for me thats it, I want my club to be the good guys again, I want to not have conflicting emotions, I want owners who I feel have the clubs best interests at heart and whom I can feel good getting behind.
...That's my point. You can't have it both ways. wanting the club to fail yet at the same time want your club to get promoted? Come on make sense of the situation and take a stand one way or the other. Simples.
For me I back the club whoever own them at any specific time. I certainly do not want them to fail or get worse than where we are already.
No it isn't - but your obviously easily fooled by the council spin machine. Its fans like you that have helped create the situation with your lazy ill informed attitude.
Would be 16 without ACL wankers.
Sorry Robo the "negative"comment was a wind up . I didn't think it would go over your head . Just my childish humour .
We lose two in a row and have a couple of postponed matches and it seems like the playoff dream may well be over. Now it seems all those who wanted the club to fail are on here moaning about our failure.
So many posting on here want the club to fail under SISU's tenure, yet here you are moaning about the recent defeats like people who actually care?
Make your bloody minds up!
You are mistaken most on here would love nothing more than SISU to succeed in making the club a success.
Most are not wishing that they fail they are merely pointing out that they have already and currently are massively failing.
There is a big difference
I'm not convinced most on here wish SISU to succeed at all? The hatred for our owners is indeed palpable on here and many wish them ill. If I'm not mistaken this means the club ill at the same time. You simply can't cherry pick to suit your conscience.
Simply stating you won't support the club while SISU are the owners may well mean you won't have a club to support if you maintain that stance for too long.
I despise SISU and their running of our club as much as the next fan but I won't buckle and dismiss my clubs very survival because of my vitriol towards them.
If there were protest organised against the Council or ACL I would attend them if it helped my club.

Hey, we've got a full set here, all the Sisu apologists out in force. No wonder Sisu get away with murder, all the white hankies waving.
Fred, Ron, you're wasting your time with this lot.
I can't remember ever seeing anybody ever apologise for SISU on here or say they are correct in what they have done? (Unless it was a WUM)
I am surprised they have given up and moved us back with you and Italiahorse coming on here daily and posting the same stuff over and over again about giving up and not supporting us any more.

In your view perhaps, but I'd argue that as we have one of the best away average attendances outside the Premier League*
We were in the top 6 last time I checked.
Edit: We are currently 6th above the top side in the Championship only the usual suspects are above us and we were 4th until Saturday.
It's all relative, I suppose. Our average is propped up by our one genuinely huge turn-out at MK Dons. Now the season is going down the pan we'll struggle to take 1,000 anywhere. How many are going tomorrow? It certainly won't be 'huge'.
We were going downwards before Sisu came here it's not a trend they have brought with them to CCFC.
