The kids have done well but... (3 Viewers)

...we were exposed yesterday by the fact that they are being forced to start virtually every game. Bigirimana, Thomas and Christie are great talents but we have to expect that 18 year olds will occasionally make mistakes and do things that more experienced players will not as demonstrated by Gael's wild challenge yesterday.

These kids are excellent prospects and it is great that the club finally has some decent youth players coming through. However, they should not all be automatic selections to start each match. It is not Thorn's fault that he is being forced to start them every match but we can hardly be surprised when they make mistakes. Blame SISU for their under-investment not Thorn or the kids.

I see this as part of the problem, whatever happens it's sisu fault. Alot of the players have been badly underperforming this season and Thorn has made some stupid decisions/failed to react yet everything seems to fall at SISU's door, it's about time the players took responability for themselves and step up to the mark, not go hiding like they have this season, Gael was stupid to go flying in like he did and i hope Thorn comes down hard on him to make sure he isn't so stupid again. it cost us badly yesturday and i think we would of gotten at least a point with 11 men on the pitch. I do agree that the youth lads should not be first choice, they need to be kept out of the spotlight for the most part and be only be used in certain situations, but saying that they have been pritty much our best players this season. so it's a hard balancing act. :p

You can't fault Bigi, he is doing far better than one might expect.
