The Beauty of the JPT - Its affordable and the 8 - 9 -10+ year olds are seeing the City win with the possibilty of Wembley. Times like this stay with you forever - City are putting down the groundbait for the next 20 years worth of Loyal Support!
My 11 year old son has stopped watching the Premier League and is now hassling me to take him and his mates upto the Ricoh again! Sweet as a nut! :D

Couldn't agree more, had a similar conversation at the game Saturday. The JPT could prove a springboard for a new generation of fans just like '87 was

Sentiment is shared. I have converted my mates son to the despair of him as being a Birmingham fan thanks to the jpt.

Good post. Great call. My 12 year old for sure has become more fervent this year... he's been a season ticket holder for 4 years.. but often its more of a sense of duty to "the old man".. me..I suspect !!
However.. to see him bouncing around after the JPT win over Sheff Utd and PNE... well talk about making that "old man" happy.....he got the bug.....:claping hands::claping hands:

I've never had any problem dealing with disappointment - you become used to it as a Sky Blue fan! As John Cleese said in the movie Clockwise: 'I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand.'

League 1 has been so good this year for that. The cheaper tickets in all games not just jpt have meant I (a 16 year old) normally take like 2 extra glory supporting mates who are slowly coming round ;)

Ive taken my son up loads of times thinking "this is the one that will convert him" - "this match will get under his skin" - "CCFC will have him forever" then they usually blow it and my hard work starts all over again!
The last time I thought Id got him was at home to Leeds - 27,000 the Ricoh rocking THEN............Thud back down to earth with a bang!
But thanks to the JPT I think Ive got him converted!
Even the Club Shop has reduced the prices! The Stars are aligned :claping hands:

They should let 2 x Under 11s in Free (if with an adult) to every League Game from here on! Weve got plenty of empty seats! Plan for the future CCFC.

:claping hands:pop & Crisps at The Ricoh would cost you £5 and youd queue for half hour before you got to the front! Lol

I know I remember it - I was a 6 year old in 1968 - My Old man would nip off to the small bar in the Main Stand and I would be chomping on my crisps outside watching the reporters go into a room at half time to grab a tea!
Happy Days - My Old Man would go up to his seat with his pint (in a pint glass).
God I feel old now!

Absolutely. The downside of your kids becoming City fans is (through my experience) it can limit the number of games you can afford to get to. Kids tickets are cheaper I know, but taking two newly converted youngsters can double the cost of attending.
