Christ, I thought the Post Office scandal was bad.
This is another level.
No wonder people lose faith in politics and the state.

Saw bits about it earlier, they intentionally injected kids with it to see what it would do? Is that right?

A bit of an over simplification but basically there was,a boys school for children with haemophilia and they were using them as Guinea pigs.

That's just Overstrand of the whole saga.

the bit i never got about this is why they mixed so much blood together in the first place.
it was bound to result in any contamination going to as many people as possible.
i know nothing about it, but i can work that one out.

I had a transfusion in 1986 which is why I can’t give blood now. Benign tentacled tumour on my skull
Never been diagnosed with anything thankfully
Seems I was very lucky

in fact the guidance here says I should probably speak to gp to get tested

Have asked friends what currently going on that the state will need to apologise for in a decade or so

Eg The Death Of Marcus Hanlin, A Man With Down’s Syndrome Who Lived At Cheddar Grove Nursing Home, Was Contributed To By Neglect.

And many many more such stories
