Still always makes me angry how wasps supporters cannot understand why some Coventry fans despise them , they act like we should just all get along and sing cum bi aah .

Let’s be clear

They are outsiders who helped set a hometown football clubs future back , they don’t belong here have no relevence to the city of Coventry or affiliation with its people.
They are the shit off my shoe and the sooner their business model fucks up the better , wankers

Wish they’d Piss off back where they came from the scutters

I have no problem with 'proper' Wasps fans from London who have seen their rugby club taken multiple places in southern England before being located 100 miles away. Its them I feel for.

Anyone from Coventry and Warwickshire that overnight has become a Wasps fan and buying their memorabilia is a c**t.

Most of their proper fans are more than happy with moving a 100 miles.

They are just as bad.

Their fans were excited about having a new home, having been exiled to Wycombe for an age. I don’t blame them.

I don't have much against those who supported them before they came here. It's just a bit weird to suddenly love them after they moved and gave you a novelty sized flag though. Even more weird to then support this new entity in booting out one of the city's long standing clubs

I don’t think there’s a lot of people like that. Indifferent to our situation? Maybe. Sisu, have alienated a lot of people so whether or not they’re in the ‘right’ is immaterial to a lot of people.

Agreed that there’s an element of novelty to the support of Wasps.

I've noticed it more in the younger contingent.

What a bunch of shit heads on that forum.

Brighton now seems to have kudos on there and you’ve been highlighted as someone whose a rather unsavoury chap and Brighton needs to have a word with you

I've been really surprised by the reaction from Wasps fans. I would have thought fans of any other club would be against a club being forced out of their city and possibly put out of business permanent but they seem to not only have no objection to it but are actively encouraging it.

Would be bad enough from any club but they've had issues with owners in the past and having to move away from their home so if anything you'd expect more empathy.

There also seems a lack of understanding of many of the basic facts yet they scoff at others who have been following this for many years prior to their arrival.

Yeah they are pretty clueless about it all really. A PR companies dream the way they go on.

I'm not surprised, their new found 'fans' in Coventry are consumerists, they wouldn't be able to comprehend the way CCFC fans feel.

They seem to think the Saracens game will create more income than CCFC being here all season.

Absolutely laughable. They don't realise how much money this club provides them.

They might do next season, the casino must be delighted not have are fans going in every other Saturday and I hope our fans will boycott everything there. Must be careful though I don’t want to upset Brighton he might have a word with me.

You haven’t learnt your lesson. Report to the Saracens match in full kit with a flag bigger than your body.

The number of times I've seen Wasps fans say we only pay 100K or that they lose money putting our matches on is unbelievable.

I'm also not convinced by claims that they have loads of fans in Cov. My work takes me to various other companies in the city and its rare to find more than the odd one or two who go. This weekend when they were playing I had a quick look on twitter and those posting about being at the game were either from down south or from Warwick / Leam / Kenilworth etc, hardly anyone from Cov. Not very scientific I know but the evidence doesn't seem to stack up with their claims.

I don't think CCFC contribute that much to the coffers profit wise. That said though, where do they find at relatively short notice 25+ events a year with 10k visitors?

What obligations are in the Wasps' agreements with the new catering company? Surely they'd have an expectation of footfall?

They have a bit more popularity with school kids because of the PR offensive. Which leads a few to boast of kicking Cov out the Ricoh

Again, not very scientific but the people I know who have said they've been to or have told me that they are going to a Wasps game are x2 from Birmingham, x4 Solihull, x2 Kenilworth. Not one from Coventry.

Can you imagine if it turned out SISU had done what their owners have done?

Current owner speaking to other rugby clubs miles away about merging and moving Wasps before he'd even purchased them.
Continually lying to the fans saying they'd be staying in Wycombe / moving back to London.
Claiming a new stadium being built a mile way from their traditional home wasn't an option as it couldn't be used for rugby only for another rugby club to move in.
Presenting a move miles away as a done deal with no fan consultation half way through a season.
Immediately saddling the club with huge debts in order to pay the owner back.
Failing to build a promised state of the art training facility.
Claiming the move would make them the richest club in Europe but losing millions while sliding down the league.
Having the auditors call you out for supplying false information.
Admitting its a property development company and the rugby club just happens to come with it.

There would be absolute uproar if it was SISU but they just sit back and take it all because they've been fed a PR line that the owner cares deeply for the club.
