Aahh, I did wonder how long it would be until you mentioned Turkey.

You are aware of the criteria for joining the EU? You honestly think that Turkey could ever achieve that? Even if they did all the member states would give them a thumbs up?

I absolutely do. Although that's more my opinion I accept. But the uk wouldn't use the veto. Cameron has been their biggest supporter.

Regardless of who is right on this one, Don't they get visa free access next year anyway? And also a few billion quid from us as we are so nice to deal with the migrant crisis?

So you'd prefer the refugees in the uk?

Yes Turkey aren't going to be joining the EU.

Also, nope they're not getting visa free access as they failed to meet the necessary criteria.

Plus they're not getting any money to deal with migrants. Maybe you meant the refugees?

I'm sorry but whilst I think turkey will join I accept it would be years away and is debateable.

I can't accept that they are not getting free free access and we are paying alone alone almost a billion quid to fast track to the eu.

It is going to be disastrous and now war will clearly be declared, with us being invaded by an EU army led by a Turkish general.

Farage will go and hide in a bunker up his own arsehole.

Err.... okay then.

I'm not losing any sleep over it. I voted remain, but I wasn't 100%, solid, straight down the line passionate remain.

Guess we will all find out what it means in due course.

Looks like Scotland will now be voting to leave the UK again, mind.

There is two sides of the argument and you put it to the people and then the government take that result and implement it. We control them not the other way around.

Democracy is alive and well.

P.s this result won't please everyone and I would respect that and I clearly acknowledge that but that's life and you can't win them all.

Well the SNP were certainly keen on the idea when oil was $120 a barrel.
It'll be very interesting to see whether they still fancy it at below $50.

You honestly think this is a good thing?

Sterling has dropped to it's lowest point in over 30 years - do you actually understand what that means?

We've gone from sitting around the table to shouting through the letter box.

Not one single member of the Leave campaign was able to state what this situation would result in and still can't.

The assumptions were just words.

However maybe you can explain how we'll reach this Utopian position?

And so it begins. Not even 8am and Leave backtracking on the extra £350m a week.

The economy has certainly held up well, the £ falling faster than Black Wednesday.

Pretty sure their calls for a period of calm equates to we haven't got a clue what to do next as we didn't expect to win.

Almost certainly the end of the U.K., hard to see there not being another Scottish referendum with a different result.

And Laura Kuenssberg blaming it all on Corbyn.

Hopefully all the promises made by the Leave campaign will prove to be true.

I wouldn't go that far - the SNP will probably seize the opportunity to have another referendum. It may not be in their best interests, not only because of the oil price, but as politicians they don't care about what is best - they care only for power.

The SNP have wanted another referendum since they lost the last one. With Scotland voting to stay in the EU this gives them the perfect excuse.

A recent poll showed a stay in uk vote was now 10 points ahead. Oil has collapsed globally

Corbyn says he government must invoke article 50 immediately and leave as soon as we can.

Looks like he's a real socialist after all.

The £ was always going to fall sharply on a leave vote. The money markets dont like change. It drops on any major decision made by the country.
Its not the beginning of the end is it?
The people of the country have spoken and its time to accept it and get on with it now.

A poll result before a Leave vote is a lot different to an actual second referendum.

What did you expect Corbyn to say, that we should ignore the result?

Yes and Northern Ireland have a great excuse as well. Both countries are being dragged out by 'Britain' - or rather English people over 50.

Whatever the result there would have been market volatility it's how these people make money.

Has Cameron commented yet or is he busy packing up his desk

How do you propose we "get on with it"?

What a load of bollocks. If the pound doesn't recover sharpish there will be no choice but to have an emergency budget to address it. Things could be about to get expensive in the UK. On a plus side I've still got €400 left over from last years holiday otherwise I might have had to seriously curb my plans on how much I was going to do in Spain on holiday this summer.
