I know farage is a bit out there but I just can't accept the racist card on him. He has every ethnic minority in his party and I have seen him have photos and pints with many black and Asian guys.

He tells a few home truths that people don't like hearing and he gets dogs abuse. Without him we wouldn't even have this referendum in my opinion. The Tory government promised this referendum to shoot the ukip fox.

I see nothing encouraging in that.

He once also ate brown rice and bought China Girl by David Bowie, so he can't be racist.

I hope you all voted with a pen today, apparently Elvis and 2pac have been changing your vote by faking the moon landing with chemtrails.

Just some of the home truths he says time to time that others don't even know about.

Couple of examples as you asked so nicely;

We are giving pre accession aid (close to 1 billion sterling) to turkey when apparently they are not joining the eu.

We are building a eu army. Which we are. Constantly denied by the establishment.

I could go on. Only farage seems to have the balls to say it.

The vote is rigged, all the people I have spoken to had to use the pencil supplied, I'm pretty sure its always been a black pen normally

It's always been a pencil supplied at the polling station.

They don't run out and are thicker so easier for those counting to read.

However, there is nothing to prevent you taking a pen and using that should you wish.

Because I was asked for a few and I gave them. Not really sure what agenda you are pressing. If I wanted some more info I would do it myself. But then I am independent like that.

Ok you win here is two more. Just for you.

1. We actually give over £350m a week to the eu and we give a unarguable net 34m a day to the eu. No one from Remain has obviously said this.

2. Switzerland and Norway are very rich countries. Both not in the eu and get to make their own way in the world. They are prospering countries. Again apparently they are alone and insignificant according to remain. Never saying they are rich and have higher gdp. Of course.

Oh right, those old chestnuts.

I thought you might actually come out with something new.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the video that's been posted a couple of times here?

Any early evidence either way yet?
I'd look but halfway through a film.
I guess any market activity could indicate the likely outcome as they're the only ones who've done any exit polling.

It seems mildly bizarre to declare 'constituencies' through the night, but guess that's the only way to get analysis relevant through the night!

Deep Purple's Made in Japan my soundtrack as David Dimbleby holds court. Guess I should change to Made in Europe...

Remain were always favourites although not sure how Nigel would know. First result isn't even in. Sounds just a bit pessimistic although probably right. My point is he cannot know just yet. Impossible

It is good that it looks like there has been a good turnout for such an important issue and shows how little think of the politicians as the turnout for elections is always dreadful

The EU doesn’t currently have an army. It does encourage military co-operation between member countries, which already run joint operations under an EU banner, and some European politicians would like to see this take the form of stand-alone EU armed forces.

Member countries would have a veto on any such plans, so the UK would only take part if it chose to.

European military force is still a matter for national governments

Really? But they are. It's already happening not it will happen.

Maybe our standards of what that means is different but the truth is its already being planned.

Whether uk has a veto is a bit like having the veto over turkey. We wouldn't use it.

Free reign to Brussels if we remain. Good luck with that.

More Taxation, more foreign war, join the euro. Turkey and Albania to join. open borders

I can sleep well tonight

Aahh, I did wonder how long it would be until you mentioned Turkey.

You are aware of the criteria for joining the EU? You honestly think that Turkey could ever achieve that? Even if they did all the member states would give them a thumbs up?
