Also I thought people knew what they voted for. If you didn’t release that when you voted leave you voted to leave the free trade deal that is the EU and therefore set up 27 borders then you clearly didn’t know what you voted for. Throw into that mix the 40 FTA’s that the EU has (the ones Fox has failed to replicate) with other countries and groups that totals up to another 70 countries then by voting leave you’ve voted for 97 borders in total.

Boris has become very Kim Jong-un esq blaming everyone else while failing to take on the responsibility of the problem. That makes you SBT’s very own Ri Chun-hee.

Do you have any actual idea of what you voted for? Where have I remotely suggested barbed wire and watch towers? I understand what a border is in the sense of trade. You’ve voted for 96 trade borders we haven’t had for decades. How can the consequences of an instruction you gave the British government to do be on anyone other than yourself. We’ve not been evicted from these trade deals we volunteered to leave.

It’s a direct consequence of what you voted for in June 2016. If you’re looking for an individual to blame for 97 borders going up on November 1st all you simply have to do is look in the mirror. You’ve put it up along with everyone else who voted for this mess.

In admitting that Northern Ireland didn’t occupy any of your thoughts only confirms that you didn’t know what you voted for. If you did you would have considered the consequences of your vote and that can only mean that Nothern Ireland had to occupy your thoughts. You’ve just admitted making an ill informed decision.

No Tony it does not as my belief is the centralisation policy of Europe will continue to gather pace.

We know they have a habit every ten years or so of introducing treaties which can at a stroke reduce or eliminate our veto

They want fiscal and economic centralisation and military centralisation - the club want its way. It’s built to benefit Germany at the cost of others.

It’s not a free trade arrangement it’s far more and it’s not a prove I want to pay thanks.

Don’t really drink. Just got back from a two week holiday and had the grand total of 5 pints and on five different nights too. Brought back €360 plus change as well so hopefully I’ve already got a better rate than I will have next year for the first of my two holidays I take every year. Never been to Solana, can’t say I’ve ever heard of it to be honest. Is it nice? Do you recommend it?

And a border in Ireland is a must? A trade deal would mean different. But they are still trying their best to keep us in the EU. Even the blind can see this was the way with the so called May deal to keep us in the EU. If there is a backstop we can't leave the EU without them giving us permission.

I hate to be the one to break it to you but Switzerland has a trade agreement and a number of bilateral agreements with the EU.

If you’re looking for a comparison for a hard brexit relationship with the EU you need to be thinking somewhere like North Korea. Which is apt as we have a PM who’s very Kim Jong-un esq.

It is a change of huge magnitude, one which happens every few generations or so. Like last time was probably when we joined the EEC. Requires a change in mindset. Change being the key word. Too many people are spooked by it.

That is the exact same thing that, I think it was Bernard Ingham said on the radio when asked how Maggie would have approached the issue. He said exactly that - she would have provided a clear message that any hard border would only be erected by (& at the general cost of) the EU.

All other needs are catered for in the existing set-up.

We will have a trade deal with Switzerland. Switzerland are not in the EU but have a trade deal with the EU. What kind of border is there around Switzerland? What will happen to the goods from the UK to Switzerland?

North Korea? I see you are struggling a bit now.

This time last year you & ypur mates were moaning because there were none. Now we have some you trivialise them. It is a gradual process...it takes time. These deals are proof that they can & do & probably will continue to happen!

The bloke you mention didn't qualify or quantify the 'easy' thing either. Fact is there are deals done, & others in process.

You just keep on crying in your sangria though. Others who you revel in ridiculing as being incompetent are in the meantime getting on with the jobs in hand.
