If I ever feel the urge to listen to a couple of people over the age of 80 singing songs from the 60's, I'll pop around to see my parents in Allesley Village and get a slice of cake thrown in aswell. Why don’t we get Ringo and Paul to come and sing twist and shout with us too
Bottles of god knows what getting launched!Doug to start the mosh pit off.
It could be worse than that - If they literally follow the sentiments of the song through to its conclusion we may need the services of an undertaker before we’re able to get the game started. They'll park the bus on the goal line and it'll be a very frustrating 90 minutes.
I know what you are talking about. There is a club who still sing it. Forgotten who.Need to book the Dave Clark Five for a rendition of Glad All Over. I'll see if I can dig my old rattle out.
Crystal Palace?I know what you are talking about. There is a club who still sing it. Forgotten who.
Don't remember music but do remember how badly we played in dreadful game. It was a draw.December 2000
When is Doug bringing him and the rest of the Hermits over here to play.Peter Noone deserves another shot at it!

Should be available in points system order like away tickets ...
I've got no chance. Its a race to get to from work to evening games in time for kick off, although this is a later kick off. No chance of getting there before these all go.Only 4000. They'll go very quickly.

it's shite isn't itThe shirt doesn’t even look that good to me? Bit bland. They’re churning out merch these days aren’t they.
Yes looks like you are right
Nor me, but I am in my 60’s.Maybe it's my age but I really can't see what the fuss is about.
So am I. Well, just turned 60.Nor me, but I am in my 60’s.
Although most people associate the Beatles with Twist and Shout, the Isley Brothers actually recorded it 2 years before them. Wasn’t as big a hit though. Why don’t we get Ringo and Paul to come and sing twist and shout with us too

I think they only recorded it as they had an hour of very expensive studio time left. Someone had heard them play it live and suggested it as an album filler.Although most people associate the Beatles with Twist and Shout, the Isley Brothers actually recorded it 2 years before them. Wasn’t as big a hit though.
Thank you. pop picker!Although most people associate the Beatles with Twist and Shout, the Isley Brothers actually recorded it 2 years before them. Wasn’t as big a hit though.
Match preview email just now states exactly this...Would this not have been our remembrance day fixture? Won't be at home again until the 22nd of November. A live version of WLADITT followed by a minutes silence doesn't quite go hand in hand
The Enemy will also be performing "We Live and Die in these Towns" live pre-match, so make sure to be in your seats by 7:40pm!
This game is also our Remembrance Fixture, and there will be a minute's silence just before kick-off.

Big exercise in recovery both on the pitch and in the stands tomorrow evening.I'm not a big fan of The Enemy, WLADITT is really the only song of theirs that's on my playlist (though that was before we took it on - it gets even more playtime now). Though I think it's great that it's happening because other people do like them and because of that, it's probably going to be a new record attendance, at a midweek game nonetheless. It should help make it a great atmosphere, we'll probably still sit the other 85 minutes in silence but it's something.
