I remember I went to JJB on Hertford St on the slope opposite the old Etnas restaurant with my mum. She bought me the Sky Blue Version all boxed up, shirt, shorts, socks

Why is it that U seem very unhappy with anything to do with Cov. Don't understand.

I think it's a class twist to the retro kit

I'm not a big blackout fan but I think it's better they do it this way than as a proper kit, the retail side really has come a long way from scarves in a wheelbarrow or whatever it was.

I remember the club shop being in the Co-Op in the city centre.

Not sure whether they had a shop at Highfield Road at that time too (would be late 80's)

I'm a big fan of this new stuff, but there will be plenty of interest in it. And therefore another welcome addition to the merch range and our revenue streams.

Stick a city badge on claret and blue and people would be lining up for it.

I bet this will sell out very quickly. Just as quick if not even more quickly than the other retro stuff.

For a brief moment, I thought they'd actually got Tatsu to model the junior shirt

They did it with the England 1990 remake which sold very well. The hoodie looks nice but I'm not so hot on the blackout 87/88 kit remake though.

I'm eying the Umbro remakes and Pony home remake for Xmas, the blackout range isn't on the Xmas list just yet.

The Umbro home shirt is already sold out in most sizes, so you should be in luck for Christmas 2025.

Sold out extremely quickly, so the masses don't agree. I think this one will become a collectors item.

Also, perfect for a black tie event when a Sky Blue shirt won't cut it.

Recently bought the CCFC deboss tech rain jacket, which I thought was quite smart, no pockets! £60 for a rain jacket with no pockets . Get it sorted Frank.

Just got the Umbro retro kit and can I say the quality is much better than the Hummel stuff we’ve been getting.

It fits so much better, feels so much better and just seems overall higher quality.

Big clue on the next retro top on the online store - there’s a retro shirt jigsaw and the pony green and black is on there, so expect that soon….
