I didn’t realise Jodi Jones was Lionel fuckin Messi ???

Very flippant response. You draw the exaggerated comparison to Messi, but when a few other managers, namely Dan Crowley at Lincoln rated Jodi Jones Jones as one of the best players in the league. To have a player who’s one of the best players in the division injured for over half the season, would obviously impact on the teams performance. Whilst he’s not Messi, he’s the nearest thing to it in L2 for us.

Also, if Messi got injured his ACL and was out for a season, Barcelona’s performance would obviously take a down turn. Sure they’d probably finish 2nd or 3rd, but the likelihood is, they’d lack the star quality win the Champions League and/or La Liga.

So, I don’t really understand your point.

I've kept fairly quiet during our play off run-in, and even prior to that, however i had faith in MR even when we were 8th amidst the ridiculous remarks about sacking MR cos he had 'failed'.

He's on the cusp of building a very resilient and robust team, capable of upsetting anyone if we're in the mood. And to be honest, i feel we're going up. If MR achieves this, he has an opportunity to gather some REAL momentum next season.

Nevertheless, if we fail to beat Exeter, we're in great stead for next season.

Finally, i can wear my CCFC shirts with pride again, and whether we win or lose against Exeter, we should all have a renewed sense of vigour after this season. Pusb.

Are you flirting with him, Otis?

P.S. Totally left field but whilst in Barcelona (missing the original Notts County away league game) , I stepped into the lift with my bags to be greeted by 'Otis' written next to the floor level display in the lift (never noticed it elsewhere before, although I tend to take the stairs in hotels!). Couldn't even escape you there!

If you look close enough I am everywhere and that's not just the trains and coaches.

The op is a complete Bellsniff - probably wants us to lose at Wembley so he can bump this again.

Bloody hell....that’s so weird. I got in our lift today in Vilamoura and saw exactly the same thing and thought of Otis!

Pre season is all about getting fitness levels up, trying players out,and formations etc. You see sides winning all their friendly games then starting the season poorly, so we shouldn't worry about this. We'll get a striker in or if not someone will step up to the plate, next Saturday and the players will be up for it no doubt.

didn't we have a similar pre-season when Mowbray was in charge then went and hammered Wigan 3 - 0 on the opening day followed by that 4 - 0 win at Millwall?

2-0 against Wigan. Armstrong got both.

I really hope the OP was on the wind up here! When will people learn that chopping & changing managers achieves absolutely nothing in football. Robins is the man, he has my total support and faith. We need to stick with him for the long term!

In Robins we trust

He wasn't. Plenty of people wading into this one (started in April) and the other one In Feb.

About time we (as fans) just backed a manager and stuck with him.
