John Taylor COO is a bean counter. The only performance he’s responsible for is financial. Get back to your homework.

I'd forgotten he existed until yesterday. Probably because he didn't get a huge spread in the CET when appointed.
But Id bet hes got a massive hand in the way Robins has been treated and is also a massive c**t.

I'm the most 'woke' person on here and I've got serious concerns about this new set up and her role, and it's fuck all to do with her gender.

I expect he advises King on football matters rather than the PD.

This is what I was getting at yesterday, someone's been in Kings ear I'm certain and he would be a candidate.

So who's driving this? This is what I keep asking.
King said he knows nothing about football, what made him decide to overhaul the coaching structure?

I keep getting shot down but no one will give an answer.
Is there a modern football for dummies book ge could have got his ideas from?

1) King while not knowing about football can look at league table and panic. He can also look at performances like last night and panic. He can also listen to Robins interview after the game where he basically worried me as he seemed to say he has no idea what is happening. There's not always a conspiracy or a "shadowy cabel" prompting things.

2) If you have to believe someone is advising him then he is just of not more likely to speak to his COO who is a long term football exec.

Point 2 is all I've been asking. That would make sense.
Point 1 I don't think is relevant because it's been in the pipeline from before the season started as far as I'm concerned

By running away and declining to give proper comment to any outlet until it suits him, that’s not how front works. How gullable are you? Typical Sun reader seeing out your days in Benidorm.

King will be delighted if he reads this thread. He’s now got his way out of criticism.

All he needs to do is turn up at that forum next week in a frock, with a fake pair of tits using she/her pronouns.

Once he’s identifying as a women all criticism can be silenced with cries of “sexism”.

I imagine this is the reason why Matty James wasn’t signed and Chris Ramsey wasn’t appointed. Dead man walking.

Is it possible that "collectively" (whatever that means for CCFC) they've decided that our performances and results aren't acceptable? If you take all emotion and sentiment out of it, that's what most owners will be looking at. Doesn't really need to be someone telling DK that MR needs replacing.

Well I don't know. Maybe it is just DK, hence why I put in quotations. We don't know. I personally don't think Dr C would've been pushing for it. I personally think DK has looked at the results and performances over the last half a season and thought it wasn't acceptable. As admitted, he wasnt a football man before he join us. He doesn't get the emotion and attachment that goes with it. If we, the fans, strip all that away then it's not really any great surprise why it's happened.

I’m not sure I’m comfortable with coaches having that level of authority over the team manager. They should be subordinate to him.

The only person/people the manager should be responsible to is the chairman and directors

I'm not suggesting the coaches did have any involvement. "Collectively" means an unknown to us. Could be just DK.

Well I must say the Performance Director has made a massive impact in her very short time with the club.

Unfortunately, it’s been a huge negative impact. Well done everyone involved in the process. You must be proud of your achievement.

I would expect that after buying the club he has gone and got advice, possibly externally, about how top teams are set up and run and has decided to try and implement that here. Ou're right, he won't have come up with this himself but i suspect he has just looked at how it is done elsewhere and wants to replicate that.

None of us know what's not worked this season and why, with any luck this change brings someone in that works well with the new set up and we improve. I didn't want to see Robins gone but whatever happens i want to see the team turn the results around and drag themselves upthe table.

Of course it's invite only and a process to hand pick Qs......he's very naive if he thinks this will calm the storm
He should've fronted up on radio yesterday......a further press release on why and another praising MR to the hill and then followed this up with a forum but for it to be a little more open.....I get controls, etc but there's a half way house.

No. I've Been going a lot longer than just this season.
And this process clearly started long before this season, which was my point.
The poor start was the excuse he needed.

A CEO doesn't need to know how to install a gas meter to run British Gas. He does however need to adapt the organisation to deliver, investing where it makes most sense.

A modern football club is just another business, but with customers emotionally invested.

But he would need to know how a utility business is structured and if he didn't he need to bring people on board who did.
The structure of a football club, particularly on the playing/coaching side will not be like anything King has encountered in his other businesses so he will definitely have need to consult someone.
