He says it wasn't him, but at some point he'll realise he actually had been around the country setting up fight clubs in basements and talking to himself.

I don't know. What sort of person pretends to be someone they've never met on a local radio phone-in show. Maybe they'll have the balls to admit it on here, but I doubt it.

Who the hell is it if it isn't you?

Somebody watched Fight Club on telly the other night?

It really is sad, though...what whoever is doing it is hoping to achieve, I can't really comprehend...

Guilty! Even though I've got the DVD I'll still end up watching if I catch it on.

I'm the same. That and Pulp Fiction. And The World At War.

Torchomatic's clearly bluffing everyone here. I mean, look how long he posted as Glen without anyone noticing?

He's not Glen, he was always giving Glen stick on the CT forum! Plus his Human Name isn't Glen, making it a rather strange choice for an online moniker...

I too was surprised by the text read out by Eakin from "Torchmatic", as I had never heard of him texting in before. But I suppose that these, "handles", are not protected and if he says that it was not him then so be it.

I heard it but knew it it was not him but did find it funny because it was a comedy extreme of torch

Don't worry torch I doubt many on here now believe it was you

It doesn't worry me. Just think it's a sad thing to do.

Torchy ask CWR for the number of the text or even better ban your username from text and explain

I would to be honest, it is someone on here for sure if they are using your name and may i say a cowardly act

I thought it was really funny. You should take it as a compliment. It was obviously a wind up. It made Linnel look like a tool lol

Difficult to tell whether a text is genuine. What part made him look a fool? Was it his reasoned reply to torchomatics text?

Settle down. I said tool. My reason being it was clearly a joke. I was pissing myself listening to it. Although to be fair I did sense him cringing perhaps. Btw I don't dislike Linnel I was just trying to curry favour

I must admit that the gist of the text was very much in line with what Torchy says on here in that it was very much pro SISU. Did I hear City and SISU till I die???

Reckon you should apply for a trademark :) then issue CWR with a cease & desist order if they mention it again haha

Look. I wasn't upset by it, it did make me laugh, however, it wasn't me. Why would someone do that? Would you send something to CWR and pretend it came from someone else? There are loads of people I disagree with on here but I wouldn't text or email into CWR using their name. It's a odd, sad thing to do. The person who did it is obviously equally as odd and sad.

So why start a thread on it??!

If you're going to start a career in Identity Theft, reach for the stars!! Local Radio football phone-in is the obvious pinacle of any fraudsters life of achievement. Catch me if you can!!

So just ignore it, Torchy.

why start a thread on it? It is just attracting more attention and giving the person who sent it even greater notoriety. Unless you want people talking about you, which is a bit strange in my book.

What I don't get is how can someone have a monopoly on a name. I mean, it's like saying that I am the only Gordon in Warwick and no one else can go by that name.

Just ignore it, Torchy, you have some strong views, so such activity goes with the turf, I suppose. It's a case of 'if you can't stand the heat, don't so publicly and vehermently ass-lick SISU'.

You should worry Torch. There's a bloke pretending to be a footballer at the Ricoh called Macca.

So let's get this right, someone went on the CWR phone-in impersonating Torchomatic from Sky Blues Talk?

What?
