That guy that wouldn't give the ball to the Birmingham keeper was escorted out of the ground.

A bit harsh I thought, it doesn't say on the ticket that you should throw the ball back if it comes to you.

I thought it was out of order. Glad he was thrown out.

Stewards were looking for work last night, but when they needed to do something, they failed!

I refer to the brummie fan in block 29 who was, Erm, escorted out shall we say by a few fans. That's what the stewards should have done, well not in the manner the fans did it, but then again the little shite shouldn't have been in our end!

Think a warning would have sufficed - hope he doesn't get banned

There is not throwing it back once and then holding onto the ball which is what he did over and over. No surprise he was chucked out really.

Having an alcoholic drink in view of a football pitch?

That's Illegal in this country. I remember reading about that in the box's at the Walkers.

For years the average football fan has been restricted by the draconion law that prevents the consumption of alcohol inside the bowl of the stadium. Unlike all other events that take place at the same stadiums be it rugby, cricket, musical events etc the consumtion of alcohol within view of the pitch is illegal.

This law, which results from the behaviour of football fans in the 70's and 80's is completely outdated in todays modern stadia which are well stewarded and have full cctv. Most grounds have a family area so it is reasonable that alcohol consumption should be restricted in those areas.

Yeah, that happened behind me. He was all tough then he was nearly crying when he was shouting 'fucking pus sies' to those who'd aggrieved him. Hilarious.

Agreed. I'm sure ifit was a Blues fan doing it when we were trying to get back in the game then there would be a different attitude towards it.

I wonder if all the Brummie (and Bury on Saturday) flags had fire certificates....

Correct decision. The guy is a total tool who thought he was hilarious but in reality was the exact opposite. I was clapping when he was led away.

the stewards had no choice after the amount of time he f***ed about. with our luck the football League would porbably have fined the club for non control of the fans !!!

That's an arrest able offence!!!

Put 30 fat blokes running into each other on the same pitch though and it isn't.

Mind you, football, despite it's recent gentrification, is still mainly a working-class sport.

Can't have those chaps having alcohol whilst watching the football, anything could happen old boy!

Was invited to the Chelsea Newcastle match in a box last year and we had to close all the blinds when drinking alcohol!!:D:facepalm:
