Chief Commentator!
Im fed up of the shit coverage we get, so much so i emailed the beeb the other day asking why they if your outside of the Premiership, you dont get coverage. Im yet to recieve a reply.

sad, I no, but its bloody annoying! I mean Midlands Today even cover Stoke's fixtures. Didnt know they were a Midlands club!!

I was thinking exactly the same thing. The match reports are always bias aswell, and i never seem to agree with the stats. The other week Bristol City apparently had about 19 shots on target.

Every match highlights for our home games shows the away team getting off the coach.
We don't want to know how they got to the match.

If you think their stats are overblown, check out VitalFootball's summary:

On Mark Lawrensons FA Cup predictions this week, he's missed one game out. 10 points for guessing which one :jerkit:

You're right, hadn't realised this until you pointed it out. I've lost count of the number of times we've seen an away team stepping off the coach at the Arena.

We NEVER see the City team leaving the coach at an away fixture. In the grand scheme of things, I guess its not a big deal but still.....its odd.

Isn't it about time coventry&warwickshire got its own tv news programme? I don't want to hear about shitty Birmingham&black country in my own home! As for the sports coverage of city, that always been crap,if we won the league they would barely mention it. They seem not to like us for some reason.

There are plans to rollout out local TV stations but Cov isn't among the initial rollout:

Been the same since the 70s

As somebody who has been following city since the 1970's I remember this as being the case since that period. Not sure why, though I always suspected with ITV/Central that it was because of Gary Newballs (Newbon) being a Leicester fan. Not sure with the BBC.
