As I said after Peterborough away, farewell Jordan Shipley. Great send-off

I accept all the criticism of him but I would ask this:
If you had to put a few quid on one of our midfielders to grab a goal, who would it be?
Hamer? Sheaf? Allen? Even COH? Or Shipley?
If he could tackle and get through 90 minutes he'd be worth keeping.

Anyway, looks like he's off and I wish him well.

All the best to him, played a key role in two promotions and gave it his best, not many players score in three divisions for a team

Massive player involved in our revival, and that’s how I want to remember him. It’s a ruthless game though, he’s just a victim of club success. Success he’s played a big part in, let’s not forget. Got a lot of time for Shippers and wish him all the very best for his career.

Good luck Jordan on your next venture. You have provided some great moments. Not bad to play for the team you support!

Got to live the dream of playing for the club he supports. Seen him walking around Leamington more than once in his Cov shirt and I'd do the same in fairness!

Someone in League 1 is getting a very good player for that level.

He should be proud of what he achieved with us. It’s time for a new challenge, make new memories and prove some doubters wrong (hopefully)

Coming out of nowhere during the L2 season and was key in getting us up.

Scored in the playoff final.

Stepped up and made himself count contributing to L1 promotion.

I hope he has a great career.

He’s done the right thing for himself and the club. There comes a point where one outgrows the other. we reacted that point last summer, but at least he got to be part of a great squad this season with great team spirit.

Well known im not his biggest fan, but only at this level. Hes been a fantastic servant to the club and lived all of our dreams. Crucial in league 2 and some important goals in our title winning L1 season.

I hope he goes on to tear up L1 next year, and show how good he can be

Very unfairly treated on here he was even criticised when not selected, I wonder who he will be replaced by by our resident boo boys.

He has memories that nobody can ever take away from him, the part he played in our revival will never be forgotten, and a great down to earth local lad to boot

Would love us to play against him next year in one of the cups so he can get our full appreciation.
Would be great to get a few thousand SBA chanting an “opposition” player to properly let him know what he meant to our club.

Good luck to him.

We've had hundreds of players come and go in the last 15 years and in 95% of cases, they disappointed, failed or left too soon. Shipley did what many others didn't and that was get promoted (not once, but twice), scoring at Wembley and leaving with fans offering his praise.

We'll look back on players like Shipley fondly in the future, no matter what successes/failures we have.

One of our own!

That would be great at the CBS, I think he got a great send off but I think it needed a bigger one from more of the SBA at the CBS

I just don't get him, he has ability but lacks concentration and whenever he has been given the chance this season he has been very lacklustre in his performances but overall he has given us some great memories dancing away in our wins and some very good goals, I hope the move serves him well ...good luck Jordan

I can just see the club activating the extra year in order to get a transfer fee, then he goes and does his ACL before moving, and ends up staying next year without playing.
