Hopefully bullshit but makes me laugh at the cet comments blaming SISU already!!
Job complete! Add to that another nothing article about a stadium nobody has mentioned, that was posted on here last week.

Wonder why they haven't commented much on the stuff about them working with the council and making deals.

Not blaming them mate just pointing out financial reality. TM won't be interested in battling relegation in the champ but we may not have the budget for much else.

How do you know he won't be interested? Have you asked him?

Sprat to catch a mackerel ?

We need TM on a longer contract and Andy Turner knows that as well as we do so bang a little story out, bound to be linked with every championship job that comes up

What does the length of his current contract matter...

The only thing the contract is good for is wiping your ass with the payout when you sack someone... if he had rolling 12m deal or 10 yr deal, all we would get is compensation if another team wanted him, and quite frankly no sensible amount of compensation would be enough.

People who are so proud not to go to games but outraged at a dodgy rumour about the manager...

I can't believe all of them are real accounts either.

I'm not an accountant but if they offered me double my wages I guess I'd have to think about it?
After all he has a young family and football management is not the safest job around.

It's interesting that Gilbert has already admitted to having extensive experience in PR.

Or digging a little deeper into the council's so called 'exemplary ethical behaviour'

I don't understand why everyone's so surprised - it's the easiest story to produce.

If there is any substance I really couldn't blame Mowbray for leaving:

- Higher Salary
- Higher League
- Higher Budget

And before anyone bleats about loyalty, it works both ways and if we end up falling from grace we'll soon be calling for his head.

Steven Pressley was linked to Huddersfield shortly before signing his extended contract last season.

When a manager is doing a good job then just like a player he'll be in the spotlight, that's the nature of the game.Mowbray is the type of character that you never know if he is happy or miserable,he just looks dour all the time.So what goes on in his mind you'll never know.I couldn't give a toss though about his personality, all I know is I want him here as he is the man for the job and given time will get us up.

I see Mr Woollaston is spitting with fury on the comments section again...he seems very keen for us to smell his coffee, again.

Aside from that, it's just speculation. Another inflammatory article written to stir it negativity again.

Funny, last season the CT did nothing but bait the fans with 'ooh let's be positive' during Pressley's fiasco (not ONCE did they call for him to be sacked), now it's all rumour and supposition with a fact spin on it to sow seeds of discontent in the fickle fans section.

Wouldn't wipe my arse with the CT, the shite on their pages would render my arse shittier.

Firstly, no fucker wanted Pressley, that's why the papers weren't full of reports about him going.

Second, when have the CET ever asked for a manager to be sacked?

Fucking hell, some of you probably see conspiracy in your cornflakes.

Local newspaper reports local news. Shocker!

There are a lot teams searching for or needing a good manager. Mowbray fits the bill. I hope he wants to finish the job here - it may put him in a much better position if he wants to move in a year or two ( worth a gamble on his part ). Whatever happens, I don't think you can blame SISU directly this time. We are where we are and Mowbray accepted the job under certain conditions. I assume he got what he asked for as he is still here. Newspapers are always printing rumours and we are always on the alert for rumours - we are as much at fault for wanting rumours as they are for supplying them. If we are not interested in rumours, why are we discussing them?

Lots of hard work for the telegraph to do with a big crowd expected for Oldham match, got to keep that crowd as low as possible.

Yeah, you've missed the point a bit there.

Nice to someone so eager to defend the old rag, though.

Martcov thinks the story has credence.

Which story, the " nothing happened today " story about RBC and the stadium? Or the " nothing happened today " story that a championship team thinks that Mowbray would be a good manager for them? Which one do I think has credence?

Your frantic attempt to defend the local wasps journal is rather pathetic.

The telegraph story has no substance - there is no suggestion Fulham are the slightest bit interest in him

However the instability and uncertainty it creates suits agendas. Have a look at the link that I posted when they persued a similar strategy regarding Pressley.

The posters who frantically tried to support the authenticity mainly no longer post on here and when did were all of, shall we say a similar council supportive persuasion.

How odd you are now filling the shoes of such geniuses as Sky Blue John.

no doubt you can post my quote where I confirmed Fulham's interest? Your whole post is built on pure bullshit ( or as you prefer " no substance " ). I am sure that clubs in trouble will always be looking for potential new managers. Mowbray is manager with experience and will pop up on clubs' "radar" occasionally. I have no idea if Fulham have serious interest. They will know that he has got us moving - it is in the national papers and on TV. So it is not impossible that they have or will think about Mowbray- but they will have noticed other managers and so who knows?
