With Ricketts banned (or is he?) does this mean Lorentzon will get his debut? If not, what'll be the set up, bearing in mind the possible return of Maddison?

Anyone think we could play stokes at cente half with Martin and Turner. Play JOB at right wing back. Maybe Haynes at left wing back as he'll have less defending to do. Fleck, Vincelot and Lameires/Kent. Arma and Murphy up top. Throw Oldham a bit of a curveball. Getting tiny bit anxious teams are starting to work us out. Donny and Sheff Utd both put pressure on the back line and tried to force us to go long. Maybe wing backs could ease this a bit?

Can only assume Lorentzen is injured. Wasn't in the first team squad on Sunday and didn't play for the U21s.

That means we could eb without our four first choice RBs - Ricketts, Willis, Phillips and Lorentzen.

I guess Kelly-Evans will have to play (whichever one of them is a RB...).

I'm not too worried about teams having 'worked us out'. We only failed to beat Doncaster due to a very uncharacteristic mistake by Fleck and Sunday was predominantly down to incompetent officials.

I think the 0-0 with Blackpool showed if you park the bus you can get a result against us. Just think it would be nice to have another option formation wise rather than just personnel. Keep the opposition on their toes

Throw Vincelot at RB and Bigi in the middle?

Think Bigiriama has played right back plenty of times but one of the loanees will have to drop out to leave us with the regulation 5 the reason he didn't feature Sunday as for Lorentzen where has it been said he is injured ? I thought we were waiting international clearance for him !

This was effectively the team that was smashing it right at the start of the season. Murphy has disappeared again a little bit, and Kent offers absolutely nothing. Get the four of them as the attacking front and watch them move around, pass the ball, and create chances. If Maddison isn't quite ready perhaps let him come on in the second half and play one of the others instead.

Murphy is just bizzare. A real dilemma on his game or even for ten minutes in a game untouchable. Then so many spells of messing up his first or final touch. A guess that is the way it is with a developing lad. For this one I would like to see him come on as an impact player on 60 mins. Lameries is too lightweight for me. But he came through the Sheff utd treatment and that surprised me TBF

Thought Murphy should have gone off instead of Lameiras on Sun.

Don't know about miles better, but certainly more productive.

Kent will always get your hopes up then disappoint. Runs at defence then holds the ball too long or has a shot...there's never that final telling pass. Lameiras is a class above him...always looking up and finding a great final ball...you know something's going to happen when he's on the ball.

You know something's going to happen when Kent's on the ball too.

It's just always the wrong thing.

Ruben for me
The most technically gifted along with Maddison in the squad.
Both on the same wavelength, he's TM's Robert Koren and could easily cope a league higher IMO.

Looks like it is going to be Phillips according to Mogga and hints that Lorentzen signing is potentially to solve the CB issue with Ricketts moving across
Sorry can't post link from CT.

So is lorentzken 100% not avilable for Saturday?

Gutted. Really wanted to see him play

Phillips needs to step up now

Yes. According to TM's interview with the CET.

He also suggested OBrien or Bigi could play there if need be and I doubt he'd consider that this fella was available
