Mine would be:
Murph
Christie Cameron Wood Adams (if fit)
Baker Moussa Jennings Bailey Sheff
Clarke
Subs: Dunn Clarke Thomas Fleck Elliott
I've weighed up the options, I don't think Elliott is worth Moussa, and Clarke has scored yet again.
Thought you were going to go 4-4-2 then SB_T!
I think the team same as today.. why would he change it? I don't think Adams will be fit as according to press reports he's out for 5 weeks isn't he? Mind you I read that Robins has Sky Blue blood and that Huddersfield's interest was mere 'speculation' in the same press... so guess he might have a chance of starting..?
I have been in the dark Thursday, Friday and Saturday in terms of CCFC stuff I've had work and school work to do. If he's out for 5 weeks I have NO problem playing Dickinson at all.
I pose a question for you though, is Elliott worth keeping Moussa on the bench? That's what it boils down to for me. If Elliott was worth it, I'd grit my teeth and accept 4-4-2, despite having my opinions on football and ow it should be played tactically and fortmations and so on. I don't have a say in anything the manager so it doesn't really matter what I think and as a fan, I don't really care what formations we play and how we play, as long as we get results, was I complaining under AB before Xmas? No.
I was Joshing re my 4-4-2 claim at you...you got your opinions, we all have... respect them not always agree with them... its a forum?
.... sorry I don't understand the last part of your statement- AB before xmas? No.

i personally think it is worth keeping him on the bench. i dont think elliott has ever let anyone one down when he has played. he works tirelessly for his team mates and creates openings for himself and others. we play without fear away from home and but for a little more luck we should have been leading going into this game, so yes i would play him and leon up top.

Take a seat pal, I'll get the drinks in. This is going to take a while
Why was the edge in the bench at bury
your stats are a little misleading. not in the squad v preston, got an assist v sheff utd. created and had chances v crewe (granted he didnt convert). came off the bench against yeovil and hit the bar. then today
He's a striker, he's there to score goals, not assists...)
Moussa has been below par lately imo, it's hard of him on some of these pitches to dribble effectively
compared to moussa who has got how many goals or assists in the same amount of games? not having a go at moussa there by the way. out of the last 6 games we have won 3, elliott played in these. drew 1 where he didnt play at all and lost two. he played in these two games and we created loads of chances but we, as a team werent clinical enough. when he plays we create. we need to score goals on wednesday so i would play him
Last few games he's been misused IMO, not a 4-4-2 CM.
Today, Moussa was probably better than Elliott tbh.
fair enough. i didnt go today so cant really comment. on wednesday its gonna need to be kitchen sink style. no messing about just take it to em and see what happens. the more strikers on the pitch the merrier for me
Conversely, 5 midfielders is better for defence and platform to dominate and we have goal potential in our midfield.
I'd rather bring Elliott on if we need the goals, think about it, who would we bring on if both start?
who we going to bring on!!! we are three down. this one aint down to finer tactics. lets play the best team that can get us goals right from the start. we need to be at least 1 up at the break to be in with a chance
You need to think about this. Start with 1 upfront, we get desperate we bring Elliott on.
Can remember what formation we played Crewe at the RICOH with? I do also remember us playing 4-4-2 in the 2nd half away to Crewe as well.
To say we need goals, yet start Elliott is somewhat of a contradiction, poor goals:game ratio and hasn't scored in the last 4...

...
We are 3-0 down.
I'd say we are desperate enough for goals now.
What formation did we use when we won today
Start elliott
What's this obsession with Elliott!? His industrial output has been unsatisfactory this season, why do people want him to start so much?
I'd go for a
3-1-6 formation to be honest.
