Leicester 3 down to Liverpool at half time.

Looks a good lineup on paper from them but we could do them you never know

If we score first and early, I reckon we could well do.

People moan we haven’t played any quality pre season. Would they be happier if we played teams like Liverpool and got whalloped. I’m not sure

Yup . We could go onto the game with more confidence than them

On FM I like to start with friendlies Vs utter shite and win by 20 goals and then finish up with a few massive teams on eve of season

I will email robins my suggestion.

Leics keeper looks dodgy as fook… but most disappointing aspect is commentator saying Leics preparing for a big East Midland’s derby next week against Coventry!!! I’ve never got used to the West Midlands thing and will always be Warks for me…. But now we are in the East Midlands!!!

I’d take it if it’s 8-10 million plus McNally, solves our defence whilst allowing us to get a replacement

Dreadful idea - gives us a surplus of RCBs and less money to go out and replace our best player.

Not happening at that money or anyway as Burnley seem to have secured a loan for Lokonga

It's only one pre season friendly but I thought SaSilva looked an upgrade on Bidwell.

As one of pep’s disciples he will try some fancy formation.

Well I know it doesn't really matter, but Leicester are getting spanked by Liverpool, hopefully go into the start of the season on a big loss.

I can see him being sacked by Christmas.

Should’ve kept Dean Smith on. At least then we could’ve seen them wallowing in mid table obscurity.

I think it will be the box too. It's whether Eccles plays and Hamer plays a little higher instead of Tats.

Not sure on LWB can see the case for either player. And not convinced with Lati on the left.

I think Collins will start based on Wilson being injured.

For me I’d go with.

Collins
MVE
Da Silva
Thomas
Fadz
Lati
Hamer
Sheaf
Sakamoto
Palmer
Simms

*I’d consider playing Wilson if he was fit.

Leicester still in Thailand and playing Liverpool this morning. Their preparation for the start of the season has been shambolic with little match action. Great time to play them and hopefully they’re still slightly jet lagged next Sunday.

I've just watched the highlights of that game, Liverpool hammered Leicester 4-0 but Leicester looked very dangerous on the break and that's without Vardy, Liverpool were at full strength.

Like us Leicester are on a bit of a re-build, new manager etc and will take a bit of time to get going, looks an intriguing match, Reckon 0-0 which is normally the odds for that score is a good bet.

I'd really like to see another out and out striker in before the Leicester game...
Collins appears to have been brought in as a sweeper keeper?
Happy with Thomas
Happy DeSilva (but can see Bidwell playing)
Tats was disappointing yesterday so bench for him.
Simms needs help upfront and Godden lacks pace...

Overall we've made some strong signings and I hope my new favourite player MVE will tear the Championship up!!!

If we found out middle of the week Hamer was to be leaving, would people still play him against Leicester?

We could play lower league friendlies and get walloped by Leicester instead.

I wouldn’t say fantasy, as much as I love Eccles. I think we’ll go 3412 with Godden, just having a play around with the available players.
