Has to be better.. he is running it professionally now not just having a kick about with the lads - this was always what we needed

The wins by themselves will have picked up confidence no end-it was clear that an authoritarian was missing under the previous regime but there also seems to be more tactical awareness on top of this. Simply a more professional manager all round and the benefits of that are already apparent.
well it all has differnt factors. Under Thorn the team expected bad things to happen, they expected to let leads slip and then became so aware of this when they went into a shell and it happens they blame luck and how things are not going right etc..
We have won a few games in a row unbeaten in 4. This has not happened for the club for a little while. Players will be coming to training with a smile on there face. they will be looking forward to games and ribbins will be ensuring they are not going to let leads slip all the time. This run is all well and good but for me the test comes when we lose next. if we were to lose tommorrow against Sindon will robbins be able to get the lads to shake it off and come out and win the next game. Four massive games coming up and im hoping for 6 pioint return minimum.

Think Robins is doing a good job so far. He seems much more professional with the team, he's identified a crippling weakness already and is working towards fixing it. Sadly, morale doesn't just fix itself over night. This will take time. Not for Robins, but for the players. They'll slowly get it back but it will take time for each and every player.

Yes we've said that about previous incumbants but its the first time I've said it and actually feel like its the truth.
Players are beginning to show the sort of grit and determination that they should have been showing at the beginning of the season...in fact...more like last season.
Robin's has put things in place (like the fines and bonuses) to create a positive atmosphere and its slowly but surely breeding improvement in an otherwise lackluster squad.
Players like Baker & Murphy are starting to show the sort of commitment and talent that they were brought here for and I for one am happy with what I've seen so far.
Swindon is a big test against one of the main teams pushing for promotion.
It's now time for the players to give a full 90 minutes (though based on present progress I'd be happy with 75 minutes of effort and 15 minutes of iffyness) and begin to show this league that we're in the wrong place table wise.
I wont judge players too much because everthings there, Robins has seen it, we just need to start giving a good account of ourselves in every match and so far, things are looking up!

Finally the manager is the manager.... not the players friend.
I feel from player interviews that they respect Robins as the gaffer... the boss.... not Marky...
He has set his stall out and he expects 100% in training and some players are having to pull up their socks.
All in all we should of had Robins in last season in the Championship and I reckon he could have done a job to keep us up.
Has my backing and it's a results business and he is doing fine so far.
