Matty Godden is the best striker at the club & has the best hair at the club FACTSThis thread is mental. Also, whether or not Godden does or doesn't make front post runs is kind of obsolete. If he doesn't you just ensure you don't play balls to the near post. You drop them long or look for a cutback to the penalty spot. You play to your teams strengths. Over the top comparison but you don't float balls into Messi and blame him if he doesn't win headers. A more suitable comparison would be Blackburn and Armstrong. I don't actually agree that he never makes near post runs by the way, but if he doesn't, you find a suitable way around it.

There seems to be a recent cult of more negative posters on here (before we only had one main culprit who was always negative and derisory about all things) - and it's honestly not a great trend - I'm actively starting to avoid sky blues talk for around 72 hours after a defeat due to the hysteria and ridiculous negative and angry posts titled 'fuming' etc. It's honestly becoming depressing to read.

I don't think it's helpful as a supporter of the club or in most cases fair to the individual player.
As you are someone who clearly thinks very differently to me - I get it that you find my agenda 'weird'.
I'm personally really proud that our club has found a way back into the Championship against the odds (we've had amazing success over the last 3 years), and I think we all agree it's a huge step up to the Champ.
I've personally seen lots of promising signs over the past 3-4 games - let's just support the team when the team needs our support the most vs. hysterical reactions on being defeated by teams just relegated from the Prem or highly established in this division. That's all I'm really trying to say.

I’ve supported Biamou up until the Forest game - I understand it’s not his fault he’s out of his depth and I let my frustration get the better of me.
I think Grendel has written that I only defend Max and as you should know he's hardly the source of truth (view him as being as truthful as Trump/Johnson) - if you look back at my track record it simply isn't factual.
I also think it's nonsense to say that Max is out of his depth given the huge improvement in the team since he returned but as always there are different views.
