Even if we did somehow fluke a prem return, grendel still wouldn't change his tune on Robins 😴
He would, he’d have to give up the “last twenty years” proviso and claim Robins wasn’t any better than Strachan.

I'm not saying we are likely to be promoted in the next couple of years, but there's a style, fluidity and football quality of our performances in the Championship this year that seems much more like Southampton, Norwich, Swansea and even Leicester in achieving a stlyish year on year progression up the leagues, than Wimbledon, Huddersfield, Blackpool and Millwall, who achieved long runs of good results in the second tier by being hard to beat and possessing some really successful scoring partnerships.

We are comparing an era when teams could go from winning the 2nd division to the European Cup in about 3 years because money was nowhere near as big an object as it is in today's game ..

No team in non league today could get to the top flight in decade ..

Not a single 1 without MILLIONS

It won't happen ever again , too many hurdles and would take decades in reality
luton are 1 step away

Crazy to think Huddersfield actually got promoted to the PL with a negative goal difference.
