A friend who has an executive box at the ricoh has said to me he has heard a takeover in principle has been agreed.
Before anyone asks, Im not naming them and I dont know who they have heard it from. I also dont know if there is any substance to it. However, me and my Dad have had a season ticket for many years (bar Northampton season) so the club means a lot to my family. Therefore, i dont believe he would simply say it to me as a wind up. He says he has heard it from someone who is within the club. However, I accept this could still be an untrue rumour but he isnt the sort of person to spread rubbish.

Again this is completely unconfirmed. I have 0 proof and I don't know who the source is. I am merely passing on the information I've been told to fellow city fans.

There's been smoke before like this with no fire.

I'm full of hope, but not expectation.

Not having a go, just saying we've had very good rumours from several sources before like we are having now and nothing came of it.

Thanks for passing on whatever you hear.

If a potential investor was at the Ricoh on Saturday undertaking due diligence, then they may have counted a number of bibs, balls, goalposts, but no footballers!

look mate, if you hear something like this you've got to post it so fair play.
You're not saying it's definite, just posting what you've heard, if people choose to take it as gospel that's their issue.

I would take relegation if it meant starting next season with new owners who could give the club a new direction and start taking us forward.

More than just take it, it would be great. The relegation is going to happen anyway so imagine starting their 4 with great new owners who want to give us loads of money. We could fly up the leagues.

So who were the 4suits sitting in the small blocks of Black seats in the top tier on Saturday?
Like they were trying to be inconspicuous.

to be honest mate, I'm not even bothered about the loads of money, although it would be nice. Just someone who can run the fucking club properly for once. Secure us somewhere to play, rescue the academy, put in a recruitment policy with a bit more focus on the longer term, pretend to give just a little bit of a shit about the supporters, I'd be happy.

Quality/Quantity of posts incurs me to call bullshit. You previously claimed to be a friend of an academy player's relative, telling us Stevenson had been sold. Attention seeker i reckon.

Think it will be more of a reversing the football side out of the current set up by sacrificing certain assets to achieve it. Doesn't make sense for anyone to buy the current set up with the debt and preference shares

There have been approaches but the people involved would not meet SISUs ridiculous valuation.

Maybe the start of JR2 was even held back for a short while to see if any deal could be reached.

Given Joys obsession with the court room there is no chance she will sell the company that has bought the lastest round of litigation. There will be no tunnel let alone light at the end of it until JR2 and all the appeals have finished.

Is there any way certain players, who fees for were resisted in January, could have been siphoned out of the current structure if there were to be another event.
Unlikely I know and can only really think of one.
While we may have been struggling financially the cup boost should just about rectify.
It just seems odd that we didn't cash in the 3-4 players, offers were allegedly made for.
