Just had a gander at the swans forum, not many blaming it on Grimes all of a sudden, hatred towards their gaffer, a few said he left because he could see the direction the team is going under LW lol they were saying Cabango will be a better captain in the build up to today now they don't seem to think Cabangos is captain material 😂😂 their forum is full of melts.

Were were really good today, defence looked strong and in control, midfield strong again, Simms and BTA a right handful! Super Franky Lampard

The only disappointment is that we didn't score 3 or 4, what a great away performance.

Fair fucks to Lampard, didn't see this kind of run coming.
The beauty of this forum is that you don't need to have your own opinions
Just listen to me as I am always right!

Difficult to drop either Simms or BTA on current form with Wright coming back
It works in FLs favour do t need to rush players back they can step up from the subs bench. Can ease them into match fitness and the chances are other players will start picking up knocks tiredness kick in or form drops off.

His only headache for now is Grimes

There was.
If you say so, but most I saw was reasoned doubt.

Most of the frustration I saw (and voiced) was aimed at the players. Who, in fairness, were probably utterly demoralised over having Collins behind them.

Like some said ‘Asante is Shit, Useless, I’ll drive him to WBA, can’t kick a ball, what a waste of money, the recruitment team have done a shit job.’

I mean, I called the players gutless on more than one occasion. Which wasn't unreasonable after a couple of the performances, to be fair.

Maybe it's recency bias but rudoni is just better than o hare for me.
Different players, apart from Ohares amazing spell at the start of 2024 his end product was often lacking but his dribbling amazing he got you out your seat.
Rudoni is just incredibly effective not as silky but really produces key passes. Both in the same squad would be amazing.

Rudoni certainly not a down grade though, different player yes but still a great player.

Today is the day we will break this record. Swansea will come out strong with their anger of losing Grimes, then one goal to the good will have their heads dropping enough for us to finish them off.

I'm feeling positive about today.

There were others saying that DK had no ambition advocating that he should be putting his own money in and we should be buying at least 3 players because the ones we had weren't good enough.

I’d like to see Grimes play if possible, Leeds is a game that we need his quality. I’ll have no complaints if the team remains unchanged.
I suspect Jamie Allen will be rested ahead of the Ipswich game.

Let’s not get too disheartened or stroppy if a very good looking Leeds brush us aside on Wednesday, eh? Saying daft things about managers past or present…

I know people will.

To be fair I didn’t think that we had a good enough squad to make the play offs, and it is still early days. But we are now 3 points off, and I couldn’t be happier. Again, it’s early days for FL , but I don’t think that this squad of players would have achieved 4 in a row with MR, love what he did for us, and respect him as I do.

i agree . I think that MR was out of ideas . Brilliant as he was and the club owe him so much but a change was needed and maybe the timing of it was after all correct

Nothing to do with Robins, it's the coaching staff.

Lampard has 2 elite coaches with him.

Robins lost 1 and fell out with the other, hired coaches that were not at the level of Aidy and Lawrence. Unfortunately in Football you're not given any time, we gave Robins a lot of time when you think about it.

People like to lay the blame solely on a manager, the only blame I lay on Robins is not finding a middle ground with Aidy and also replacing Lawrence with someone better. This is what got him the boot in my opinion.

I want Stoke to do well this season simply because of how much i appreciate what Robins did for us, but looking at the 2 coaches he's brought in, I just can't see Stoke achieving much, they won't get relegated under Robins but to think Robins will achieve top 8 with Stoke just simply won't happen.
