A player who has played 2 games for his new club, and not full games, who is getting used to how his new team play and getting an understanding with his strike partner.

I'm not slating him, just pointing out how shot of confidence he was before the game warming up
I think Simms body language just generally looks negative. Don't think it really means anything, maybe he just has terrible posture
Only our 3rd game ffs I havent seen him play yet but if he lost all confidence already then we are 8M quid down the pan.
No I got it from watching his first 2 matches. I take nothing from warm up.

Think Van Ewijk is starting to look quite the player. Seems to be better defensively today
Good tackle from Fadz, but that little passage shows exactly what we're missing without Hamer. No one to receive the ball and turn to beat the press.
Think we look better than with did last season already and we've still got another 10 mill or so to spend on this team. We played them late on last season and they had us on the ropes at times, they've barely laid a glove of us today. Give it another 10 games and the players are used to each other, we'll be 2-0 up already. PUSB!!!
My nieces hubby who is Dutch tells me Van Ewijk is up and coming player. We did well signing him. Fingers crossed we got ourself a gem.
