Will be a tough game because every game (Wednesday aside) is in the championship. However think Swans recent home form is being a little overplayed: the 10 unbeaten at home is vs the following: Stoke, PNE, Bristol City, Wednesday, Blackburn, Blues, West Brom, Wrexham, Oxford, Derby.

One top 6 side, one play-off challenging team and the rest lower-mid table/relegation fodder.

Think we should be and will win at the weekend, starting XI:

Rushworth

MvE Woolfenden Lati JDS

Onyeka Grimes

Sakamoto Eccles EMC

Simms

I’d really like to see Esse in the 10 at some point this year but don’t think Lampard will do it.

0-2 Cov - Simms and EMC
Please no Woolfie

A bit worried about this one, but if we set up right and play to our potential, we should be fine. Need a solid performance.

I think Wright will be a big miss. It would be great to have Bobby Thomas back. If not, I would switch Woolfenden with Lati.

Sims needs a big game if he's the one leading the line. He offered nothing when he came on against Southampton.

Very hard to predict, so I'm not going to. Just going to wait and see how the game pans out and how well we are playing in the actual moment.

Weirdly, I feel Simms is better suited to a team that doesn't have Rudoni in it. He's better at attacking crosses than he is combining with a ball carrying attacking midfielder.

We won't change our current style because Wright is missing. Cross them to death via EMC and Saka. Think I maybe tempted to try BTA in just behind Simms also.

I still not convinced by Wolfie currently. He's really prone to getting rolled by strikers, doesn't dominate and his distribution lets him down. Last 2 matches he seems really reluctant to open up and play to his right, when recieving from his left. So the ball just goes back to where it came from, leaving MVE and/or Saka out of the play and Kitching or Grimes under press.

Stuck in Benidorm for this one. Seen manageress in Vincents in old town, but problem is kin Everton v Chelsea.
Still she said she finishes her shift at 6:30 but if I go in before she leaves she will stick it on one screen if anyone is over here.
Unless there’s a better place? Not going to the Scottish bar.

Need to play at a higher pace. Like Lampard said, we fell into Southampton's trap and allowed the pace to be slow which hobbled us. We have power and pace up top. Need to impose that on teams in every game between now and May.

Though Swansea won't have anyone of the quality of Downes to be able to dictate the game. He might be a grade A wank but he's a very good player.

nice run of games to be fair, we are by far better than the teams on that list

A lot of those teams were either horrendously out of form at the time Swansea played them or are just plain crap.

Fair play they managed to get the 3 points 8/10 games but on the whole they've had a pretty favourable run of home fixtures with exception to Wrexham.

I’m confident but also half worried we could be going into the Int break on the back of 2 defeats. But even so, if results don’t go our way we’ll still have a 4 point gap

Still think Saturday's game was decided in both boxes rather than midfield. Swansea's keeper probably won't perform anything like that, but we certainly can't switch off at the back with someone like Vipotnik around.

we'll have to play well but we should still be pretty confident
My worry is without Wright I guess Simms starts as striker. This will probably mean that BTA starts on the bench as Simms will need to be subbed. Therefore Eccles plays as 10 again which, although he’s a good player, he’s not a 10.
