Yeah I didn’t get why we were allowing him to just wander miles out of his area and not even press him.Not just about O'Hare. The tactics are totally different. That maybe due to O'Hare not playing but very selective pressing is clearly by design. I don't understand why giving the keeper all the time in the world to bring the ball out makes sense. Especially as any long ball over the top targets our slowness at the back.

He's played for teams such as Brentford and Swansea who play decent footballYes I know this. But have mentioned in other threads before; x-amount of games at this level does not always guarantee a better footballer.
You can play in shithouse teams that get results and do okay without being technically proficient. Or play in a different system that suits your playing style. I don't think Bidwell suits the way we play.

To be fair, it doesn't help when we only have 1 in the box to aim for. I've not seen 1 of our midfielders make a run in behind Gyokeres.Poor miss by Gyok, plus our crosses from Bidwell and Kane have been woeful.
Can't see us getting back into the game based on that 1st half. Opportunity missed with so many top 12 teams playing each other.
