Question 2 - none of the above. Wouldn't be happy with them as a 'best fit' either. No options for further comments at the end?

Edit - found the ability to comment!

Northern, if you fancy going through several hundred responses to an open ended question asking for further comments then I'll put one in next time!

Well... tbh that's what I've done in the past!

I'd delete the 'comment' facility then, given it turns out to be there after all ;)

Talking of fans surveys, they never did publish the one they emailed to us before they moved out of the Ricoh did they?

I think something Came out from the Club several weeks after the season started, IIRC 75% of the respondants which was in the hundreds said they would'nt follow, which had been confirmed privately at an SCG meeting in late July /early august .

Comments I intended to in respect of question 4, but I can't post comments from an iphone :(

CCFC should own the Ricoh.
I feel that once SISU own it they couldn't possibly separate it from CCFC as they couldn't sell CCFC without the stadium. Let's face it, who would buy a club without the stadium, or any potential of ever owning the stadium?

SISUE did. And they still haven't made a proper attempt to buy it or to even get the Higgs share.

Completely agree, it's not the way most people or businesses would go about buying something, ordinarily the purchaser would put in an offer for a start, especially if the item they want to buy isn't actually for sale...

You have to say though that when they originally took over there was the potential to own the stadium, or at least to own ACL, they even had an option to buy some of it at a certain rate... Therefore the value of potentially owning the Ricoh at a future point was there for SISU to see and buy...

Kinda detracts from my point about CCFC owning the stadium though...

We all agree that CCFC should own the Ricoh. The problem is the way that SISUE have gone about it. And Timothy admitted that it wouldn't be owned by the club. We are then left to guess the rest.

Buying the club and renting the arena, under good management would make a profit.
With a performing team, good support we would progress upwards hopefully to the PL.

Only trouble is we are owned by Sisue so it's not going to happen.

Starve the batsards. NOPM

Yeah, won't change the big picture but if it gets to a point of being statistically reliable it will be a solid basis for saying n% say x/y/z and hopefully provide a more informed picture than people claiming 'most fans' think this, that or the other.

Can't really answer No.2. I've got no interest in Sixfields, but I can't really say I'm actively boycotting it either. I'm just not bothering.

I will await the chorus of 1000 doesn't represent everyone, some people have done multiple surveys.

But at least you keep plugging away Michael. I wasn't being negative, like you I written letters and signed the petitions. I just still can't believe the fan base at a reasonably sized club like Coventry can treated like some side show.

So many have played apart in this situation, previous regimes, SISU, ACL, CCC, the FL....people make their own minds up.

For me SISU as owners for 6 years have to take the lion share of the blame. What I have never understood is why they have never got the fans on board with their grievances and future plans. Everything is handled in an underhand way behind everyone's backs.

I can only conclude the reason for that is their end plan is not in our interest. I can only see two outcomes 1 we are financially enslaved to them for years and years 2 they pull the plug on us. People don't seem to believe the latter but I think they will.

Excuse me Sir! Sir! I don't agree!

I want it held by the fans for the club, once it's in private hands we have no control, even if those private hands also hold the GS.

Never going to happen though, is it? Whoever our future owners are going to be they will want the Ricoh for themselves and the Council aren't going to "give" a piece of real estate like the Ricoh to the fans. Pipe dream.
