Morning All
No i'm not thinking along those lines at all CCFC, but if it was to happen, the momentum being carried by being at the top of the league, would almost certainly be taken back into the Championship, nearly every promoted team, has a good season after being promoted, we are a bit like a "Hung computer that needs Re Booting, I certainly think that a high riding team would catch the eye of any likely suitors, and be a more attractive proposition than a club that struggle every season.
"How do i know they would do well if we were relegated"
WEll, I don't is the answer its just an alternative theory on our projected future, but one thing would be vital, and that is Sisu, and its investors keeping their nerve, and not sell our young players to the first bid they get, and keep them for the future prosperity of the club.
It looks like we are heading for Div one anyway, lets hope our owners, can see it as a spring Board, to bounce back with a new Impetus.

I can accept after losing the standard of players we did the results may drop slightly but 13 points from 19 games is unacceptable.

I remember someone saying they'd worked it out and we've onl actually dropped something like 6 points from last season, which when you consider the quality we've lost isn't that bad.

Still early in the season.
So lets assume we continue at the same "drop rate" of points throughout the season, that would mean we would end up with about 15-18 points less than last season which wouldn't be good enough. I think with the squad the minimum we should expect is to be in the relegation battle and have a fighting chance of survivial, at the moment we are going down without a whimper.

Not saying it's good enough, just that it actually equates to something like a couple of draws where we won last season and a loss where we won last season. Which when you consider the squad, isn't "unacceptable".

Not saying we won't go down, just that we've not actually underperformed if you look at it this way, that is just the level of the squad.
