What’s the crack with the stands? Are all going to be open, and if not is the decision to open stand by stand a financial or atmosphere decision?

Can we do some match day stuff to make the ground our own (see previous threads on this)?

Can they give us an idea of what crowds they’re projecting for next season?

What’s being done to engage dormant and new fans?

Thanks. Will give more details after the meeting. Mark and I have spoken to the club about many ideas that we had and are waiting to have a longer discussion about what’s possible with staff still off on furlough.

Any answers about the new deal with W*sps for Ricoh Return.

Percentages of concessions (drink and food) that CCFC getting.
Amount charged per game
Match cost breakdown- stewarding etc

Just be interesting if W*sps have budged significantly from when we were at the Ricoh the first time and if it’s a ‘tiered’ (charging more or less )agreement if we ever move divisions (up or down).

We were told to expect an update on the new stadium “early in 2021” - why are we already behind schedule and when can we expect an update?

The previous minutes said “No update”. I want to know if and why that’s still the case.

More CCFC signage at the Ricoh? Spruce the exterior up. Looks manky.

They didn’t I’ll dig

DB Said there was no update but to say that there is a lot of work behind the scenes. He explained that the University are creating a master plan for the whole area to incorporate road, rail, buildings etc. There was no current timescale for this. DB explained he doesn’t take day to day responsibility for the club regarding the new stadium as the owners are the ones liaising with the University of Warwick.

So it says no update but then gave an update

Even if you believe there will be a new stadium surely you're just going to get the same answer?

If the next stage is the University master plan for the area then nothing will happen until that is completed. My understanding is that has been delayed as the final routing of the new relief road is needed and that has been delayed - was supposed to be announced last year but still hasn't been published.

Same as previously mentioned can we have more signage at the Ricoh so it feels more like home rather than just being tenants

Will he try and get McCallum back for another loan? It's been great watching him improve - those throw-ins are lovely.

Questions from Sky Blues Talk forum

Return to the Ricoh / next season

Is the decision not to open all the stands financial or atmospheric?
Can we do some match day stuff to make the ground our own? Spruce up the outside or Ccfc signage?
What crowds are you projecting for next season?
What’s being done to engage dormant and new fans?
Can any details be shared about the agreement with wasps? Cost per season? Percentage of food money? Match cost breakdown?
Is there a tiered approach depending on Covid restrictions and which league we are playing in?
What are the aims for next season if we are successful in staying in the championship?

Playing staff next season

Can we go all out and get Leo Ostigard?
Is Sam McCallum on the wanted list?
Liam Walsh?

New stadium

Any update? Is everything waiting on the university plan?

Accounts

Have we submitted our accounts yet?

Can they organise the concourse better the area behind Block 18 is a nightmare at half time.
With the bar the only one open and the main toilet block there it is just rammed then all those pushing through to get to the smoking area.

Women supporters:
1) Do the club have accurate figures on how many women supporters they have - season tickets, casuals? If not, why not?
2) Do the club survey their women supporters to canvass their opinions? If not, why not?
3) Does the club have any plans to offer replica kit in women's sizes? If not, why not?
4) Do the club intend to seek women supporters on this committee? If not, why not? (I know Pat Raybould is on this but she represents the JSBs, children and parents)
5) What supporters club can a woman join if she doesnt live in Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth, Leamington, London, Southam, the north west or Scandinavia?
Many thanks

Suspect the answer will be get some people together and start one. Believe the club, and for that matter existing supporters groups, have been happy to assist new groups starting up.

Thanks for a thoughtful response. I think if I knew the answers to the first questions I could gauge whether there is any scope for one. Maybe all the other women supporters wouldn't be interested in one, which is fair enough.
It strikes me that the women supporters are silent - none on committees, CWR phone ins, podcasts I listen to - zilch.
Maybe this is OK but it seems we don't actually know what the women think. Most may believe its a man's game so women should keep schtum. I struggle with this myself. But at times I remember many are like me and been a fan for years. Over 50 years of support and I've paid for about 50 season tickets so why should I feel I can't have representation?

I wasn't being funny, just generally the fans groups are open to all sexes aren't they?

If you don't live in the area I think you can still go to them.

Mrs BSB had a passing interest in football probably until she got into CCFC, which makes little sense. Up to that point she'd been to a few games in Scotland but without a bloke with her always got some unwanted attention. Same when she tried using forums to get responses for research she was doing, half the replies not worth repeating. Think it changed when we started going to some away games and you could just have friendly chats with other fellow sufferers/masochists/Sky Blues in the pub before.

London Supporters' Club was very welcoming and in practice they don't really care where you're joining from. Think that matters more than making it single sex

I just asked Mrs LG and she's still against women's tops, says that she doesn't see the current ones as gender specific. Didn't get them when they were last available as shorter sleeves and a drop collar makes it look like something else compared to what the players are wearing.

I wonder if the club have done any research and decided it's just not cost effective cos of people like 'er.

Personal choice, of course but the current tops are definitely men's. Look at the size guide on the ccfc store and you'll see. Men's cut is definitely different. Try on a large shirt in a woman's size if you want to see the difference. Some women don't mind wearing men's clothes but I think a choice is important.
The merchandise in ccfc store often has more stuff for infant and baby girls than for women. If that's based on customer research fair enough but it always looks like stuff men might want to buy for their daughters rather than what women would buy for themselves.
