Moderators: please don't delete their fare. It's what football rivalry is all about. If they want to dish some out, we have to take it on the chin; painful though it might be.

And of course, remember it so that we can return the compliment when ill fortune is again visited upon their pitiful and squalid town; as doubtless shortly it shall be

I agree. We may slip to the 3rd tier tonight while they sit in the top tier, but we need to take it all on the chin and start again

I view their current superior league position as being a bit like one of those nice holidays social services run for severely disadvantaged children. I mean, some positivity has to shine it's light into their hovels, doesn't it?

One quick point of order: wise cracks about the Blitz and the Luftwaffe just aren't funny. Hundreds of folk lost their lives. It's not amusing. Apart from that, it's all good clean fun, and we should be prepared to take it on the chin ;-)

Come on
Take it on the the chin
Maybe we can cheat our way out of this mess

If I lived in that suburb of Newcastle, Sunderland as some say, I would move to get out of that mess. Bit of a shithole isn't it

I have to say that hand on heart, I believe City fans on the whole would be decent enough human beings to not still be bitter about something that happened 35 years ago.

Wonder if them lot are still pissed off with Hadrian building that wall up there. :thinking about:
