"It looks like we have to rely on Wembley" Arrogant Bastards. They won't get past Fleetwood in the first game

State of the lad that said singing ‘Jimmys in a box’ was the highlight of his day. Just about sums them up.

Didn’t listen to all of it. But, the first lad was at least literate and knowledgeable.

The other couple of lads afterwards may have sampled a little too much of the local sauce.

Most of the Sunderland fans that I have met over the seasons are a decent bunch of lads. A one team city.

I remember us being 5-1 up at Highfield Road against them.

and the Sunderland lads in front singing’ We want 6’
They like us, have no divine right.

Good luck them.

That’s what being a football fan is about. I’m not sure we will have an easy ride to the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if it is the same as the last day relegation battles in the top league.

Plus...they seem to have a fair few fans in Birmingham...Like us then.

Not sure the second lad even knew he’d been to a football match. Reckon the first lad threw a sicky to get to the game cos he didn’t want his face on the camera did he

Edit: then again I’d be ashamed and hide my face if I was a mackem and had just watched their shower of shite. As the first lad said, they’re not good enough

There constant disgusting rantings about Jimmy Hill sickens me just to try and get some sort of a sick minded reaction, I am pretty sure they would feel more than a bit angry if we started singing disgraceful songs about that poor lad Bradley

They’re no different to any other fans. You get all sorts. Those who believe their club is bigger than it is, those with rose tinted glasses, the merchants of doom, glory hunters, disciples, converts, old codgers, young recruits, realists, dreamers and last but not least the pack animals and pond life.

In the circumstances I thought the presenter did a decent job.

" we shouldn't be accepting any defeats in this league we're much bigger than that" ERM! No your not , your just another average third division club.

The average intelligence of a football fan is genuinely embarrassing. Also, I don't understand how you can vocally celebrate the death of anyone unless they had done something actually horrific. I don't think delaying a football match 50 years ago qualifies. Absolutely classless from their fans.

Sir Jimmy had fuck all to do with the delayed start of THAT game. If the Mackems want to blame somebody, they need to contact WM police who realised that thousands of Bristol City fans had been held up on the motorway system in Birmingham because of the sheer weight of numbers trying to get to the same destination at the same time. Given enough time, JH will get the blame for the collapse of the coal and steel industries in that area. And.... despite his death preceding the Brexit vote, I've no doubt he'll have that pinned on him as well in a few decades time...

And losing to Everton 2-0 has nothing to do with them being relegated.

But I don’t think it was the actual delay that rankles with them, think it was more the way the
last 15 minutes were played out once the two teams had seen the Sunderland result.
Still pathetic though.
