Have seen it said that Sunderland have only sold 1400 ahead of general sale tomorrow (not sure if true but tickets have made general sale which is rare for them). If so, and the calls for a boycott are being heard, then you'd hope the club look at this again, especially kids pricing.

Our sales also slow, behind where they were for the Boro game at this stage for a bigger game (opposition wise), no TV cameras and a 3pm kick off. People starting to vote with their feet?

Well we should have 18500 STs plus walk-ups and at least 14000 Sunderland reckon another 24k+gate

That's a nice glass half full reply!

If it's the case that Sunderland fail to sell more than 2K for a Saturday 3pm game, owing to a boycott over pricing, then that is pretty significant? We should really be getting high 20s for this game.

They easily sold the 3k we gave them last season for an early kick off on sky.

They may well shift a load more this week, but with 30000 st holders, to have only sold 1400 before general sale suggests the calls for a boycott have been effective. Maybe a lot of them will cave as the game approaches.

Are we surprised though? It's £62 for a dad and his young kid. Sixty-two English pounds!

They've sold put at the cbs and SA for 12pm kick offs.
If they bring less than 2k that's a significant statement that the club should heed.

Just so I can make sure I’m keeping up with what I’m supposed to be unhappy about are we no longer mad about teams being given a large allocation and now mad there’s not enough away supporters?

Yeah, the kids pricing is just wrong. Think it’s been mentioned on here before but there should be standardised (reduced) away pricing across the league. Something like £25 adults £15 kids

People are angry about paying £25 for a child, but you knew that.

Feel for away fans. Really do it's not the pleasure it used to be.

If it's not rail strikes or Roadworks...its clubs fleecing away fans.

For a dad and 2 kids your looking at best part £200 minimum. For a whole day outlay.

That's half the cost of your season ticket.

Oh come on, you know the point being made here, because these prices impact on our fans too.

If pricing is based on demand, but the demand disappears because of the pricing, the pricing is wrong?

People keep banging on about maximising revenues, prices are like this because we need the money, stop moaning etc. Then when people refuse to pay it's all, yeah but, no but, there are fewer away fans, wot u all moaning about

If we're going to do this then cap away fans at 2k, open up 13,12 and 11 and create another family zone with the same prices as the North Stand one.

Agreed . We should be getting 27k + for a game like this. Given the expectation, given the opposition, given we have new owners etc, etc .
If we are ever going to have a case for us comparing our support with Forest or Leicester we should be pushing for a full house for these types of matches.

It will be another 24k crowd.

Ticket sales are comparable to the Boro game

Block 27 will have to be opened up probably tomorrow, as there isn't much left behind the goal. Boro only brought 1700, if Sunderland are already on 1400, they'll at least match Boro

Rip off prices, they were ripped off last season too. They never charged us OTT prices. I certainly wouldn't pay it

It’s just an excuse from them regarding the price, think they are bottling it.

£29 for a lunchtime KO on a Sunday. Leicester charged us £35.

Let's he honest, it's more the travel/hotel cost that costs the most, ticket £7/8 extra on a ticket won't make much difference.
