That's us in turmoil now, we have no money from gyokeres or Hamer, we've got dumber and dumber as strikers who can't be assed half the time, and then we've got backwards sideways backwards sideways dictating our game and speed.

Over 2 games we deserve to lose weight was spinless, not a fucking chance we would have beat Sheffield United so it's saves us from that embarrassment instead we've got to listen to the mackens for 10 fucking years.
Against some extremely stiff competition, I think you might be the least intelligent person on the board.

People are slating Wright and usually post heartbreak emotions cloud the judgement.

But I can honestly say Wright has been shambolic the last month of this season. He's failed to control every ball, he's lost every ball, he's been slow, lethargic.

How on earth Lampard left him on I don't think I will ever know
I assumed he was being kept on in case it went to pens.

What I didn't understand is why he stayed down the middle and Asante went wide, should've been the other way around.

Forget it. It’s done.

All about next season now.

This team has a yellow streak in it. It’s been there all season. Frank now has the chance to have a clear out.

Regardless of how horrible it is to lose like that, the club has finished this season stronger yet again.

Next season will be better still

That was an absolute fucking sickener.

Lots of good performances in there, but if you don't take your chances you don't win games and we had so many opportunities.

We needed some more fresh legs though, we were looking very leggy at the end.

Undeserved, obviously. They shithoused us but we didn't take our chances, one of the oldest stories in football. We didn't play with enough speed at times.

I'd be amazed if we're not playing them again next season.

Have to give credit to them. Their plan all along was to soak up the pressure and tire us out and hit us.

Marking was poor for the corner. But we have no physical presence like a Ballard or Fadz for clearing the ball in that situation. We have to emerge stronger from this over the summer and make a real push for the top 4 next season. Recruit well, have a plan B for the low block.

Ive been in the transfer thread defending wright, and defending him constantly last month thinking he’s playing through injury, but right now he can go fuck himself. Even if his is injured his mentality and desire is fucking abysmal. Embarrassing to watch him stroll about for 120 minutes and then manage to completely fuck up every time the ball came near him.

But goes to show even more how little credit in the bank the other forwards have too. We either need a complete clear out at the top of the pitch or they need a fucking huge rocket shoved up them next year, they cannot keep getting away with performances like that. Fuming that the majority of that side today left absolutely everything out there and Wright paraded around that pitch like a fucking arsehole all game

Yes I'm sure he was being kept on for pens.

As for your second point BTA would be more likely to track back with fresher legs so that's why he went wide.

Heartbreaking. Think Eccles injury disrupted our control. Everyone put in a massive shift and stepped up with the exception of Wright unfortunately. If you pay £9m for a player you expect more and he hasn't shown up again. In hindsight he should have been replaced by Simms.
So many superb performances tonight, especially Grimes, Mason-Clark, DaSilva and Sakamoto.
Hopefully a bit of a rebuild now and come back hungrier than ever.
