Even If we go 1 down we still need to score 2, the same as we have to do at 0-0. That's my ridiculous optimism

Needs a change of approach tonight.

They'll have their one goal lead, and it'll be only human nature to protect that.

We need to shake up the midfield and the attack a little bit. Given that we have to win, that should simplify things a bit.

Genuinely no idea how it is going to go. I don't really think a one goal lead is a big deal. We are more than capable of overturning it. For me it is more of a case of if we turn up or not.

Gonna need a more direct attacking performance from Sakamoto, he turns and chops defenders because he hasn’t the pace. Ultimately it leads trying to break down a tighter defence.

ironically, last game he did his chop and it led to a really good cross and position.

I'm going to slightly defend our strikers, we don't give them great service and with playing so possession based, it slows the game down. They're often surrounded by 2-3 players before the ball has a chance to come in, if it does get played to them unless their touch is immaculate they're pounced on straight away. Wright in particular, given space can certainly stick it in the back of the net. Simm's shin also seems to find the net on occasion too.

Are you heading up there mate, to the land of the White Walkers? If so, hope you and everyone else going has a good one. Remember to wave for the telly. 😁

Yes we are, Duffer. Leaving in a couple of hours, nice steady drive.

I'll wave.

if only the whole day would cost just £67
add in travel food drink, and it is closer to £200 - but could easy do a family of 4 in zone 5 for £150 if needed by driving and taking food with you
but it is not just a football match but an occasion

I have to be honest, i don't think we'll be there but if we are it won't be too bad. Hopefully we can park at Wealdstone FC again, just off the M40. Get the tube into Wembley.

What will be will be...

I wonder who you think we should change in midfield

We definitely need to mix up corners, throw ins and set pieces. Letting them set up to head away lofted balls is just too easy, especially after they practiced it for 90+ mins a few days ago.

The writing is on the wall for me. We looked knackered in the last 20 on Friday night. They looked fresh and well organised.
We don't score enough and concede far too many. How we're in the playoffs is beyond me.
Anyway, the third best team deserves to get promoted, not just a side that played well for 10 games.
