Should we stay in this league and get taken over by crazy rich Chinese business men, would you take Westy back?

Absolutely. I dont think he left on bad terms at all. I dont think hes been given a fair shot by MON, and if we had a good opportunity to bring him back affordably, I would welcome him back with open arms.

We need to go forward, not back. We have re-signed players that have left us in the past. None of them have ever been as good second time around.

If we had a few quid to spend there are other positions that need strengthening first. If we had millions to spend I would spend half of it on the best 2 strikers we could get. Score goals, win games.

Would take any player that would improve us. Does not mean we should go chasing ex players

I'm happy enough with Murphy to be honest.

But why chase ex players that won't come back? He has gone, just the same as most of our 1st team players from last season. He is at a prem team now. Will be waiting for his chance.

We need to move forward, not keep looking back at who we had.

I'll take him back. I'll take Dann, Fox, Best and Terry Gibson in his prime before we sold him to Man U, too. Hell, I'd even take King. It's better than the reality of what we'll get, which is a few more kids from the youth team and a bosman from Bury if we're lucky whilst the cream of the side is flogged for the first bid that comes in.

Absolutely. With the money he's getting he'll prefer to be third choice at Sunderland than first choice here.
