Some mad taies I've read tonight on sm. We've spent 45 million in two seasons, net spend of 10 million all while losing 500K a month and it's also evident were trying to bring someone in. It may not happen, but not sure what people are expecting. We've got what we've got. We get on with it.
No one arguing about the money spent, it’s where it’s been spent. Everyone who knows anything about football can see our midfield is piss poor, bar Sheaf.

Half the twats whinging aint got a penny to their name yet feel like they can dictate how many millions we should be spending, it's genuinely amazing to read.

you mean the spending policy that left the club relegated from the top flight, having sold the ground and with £60 million debt?

Wait so we've gone from 'yeah we can challenge for top 2' to 'doubt we will make the playoffs' just because we've sold a player who would of been on the bench most the season?

I agree we could do with a bit more depth in midfield but the emotional bedwetting is crazy 🤣
I think a lot of us were basing our predictions off signing another midfielder, to me it seemed like a given. Having said that, I still think we’ll make top 6.

The funny thing is the diagnosis on here all summer was that the keepers were crap, then the back 4 but nothing about the midfield.

3 league games in and we're in the top half and now it's a crisis because we haven't got a player as good as Sheaf when he's injured.

The letting go of Palmer might not have even meant that someone was coming in - MR might just've thought enough's enough & time to let him go
Why, because we have so much quality in midfield?

We need better than Allen, Torp and Eccles
If were serious about getting out of this league.

If Rudoni or Sheaf get injured then we have problems.

If MvE gets injured were struggling.

It's a long wait till Jan.

What’s our own personal wealth got to do with wanting us to improve the one area that needs improving the most you utter imbecile?

But some fans expectations are unrealistic. They think an extra 5,000 season tickets and a few thousand shirts and all of a sudden we have a Premier League Budget 😂

I think the gold rule is whatever someone's wealth is or isn't don't tell them how they should be spending their money!

All I was hearing all summer was how much they were looking forward to seeing Torp in his first full season, how Eccles was an underrated talent, what a great signing Rudoni was. Suddenly they're all shit 😆. A couple of them haven't had the best of starts granted and we do need some depth, but some people have lost their minds

I’d like my season ticket money to go towards a midfielder 😂

Yep and they haven't even had Sheaf next to them. They will be fine. I would like a back up for Sheaf but that all we really need

Perspective ….

we have kept Sheaf, MVE, Simms and Wright and Saka.

We have bought in 7 new signings, all our players on long term deals for £15m.

It’s been a good window.
Don’t talk sense
I get we haven’t replaced Hamer, o’hare (won’t include KP) as he wasn’t a regular game changer.
But we have improved the squad.
last years signings have been here a year now.
we are a couple of games in & it’s not 11 yet

I find it baffling how some think it would be betwetting to not bring anyone in today.

As it stands we have absolutely no back up for RB (Lati is shite there and is a CB). If Milan gets injured then we are fucked.

In midfield we are severely lacking quality bar Sheaf who is very injury prone. We have also lost 3 people in O’Hare, Palmer and Kelly and replaced them with 1 in Rudoni. This is after we have all said we seem to lack depth in the middle since Hamer went and both games against decent championship opposition our midfield has been completely dominated.

I don’t think it’s strange to be concerned as a fan if we don’t bring anyone else in…
