Sometimes it seems some people expect we should have a squad of star players. This is for the likes of the Man City's of this world.
We do need some stars but we also need steadys. It is how they knit together that counts, which includes attitudes. Latibeudiere imo is a steady with a good attitude.

It really is weird with Latibeaudiare, he seems well respected within the club and the game itself but our fan base seems to have turned on him for no real reason

I must admit I have gone off him and when I think of the exact reasons I can’t think of any, it’s like I just don’t rate him and I genuinely don’t know why I don’t rate him. It must be that he’s made lots of small mistakes that I now can’t remember and they’ve built up to be this mental picture of disliking the guy
Despite the over reaction on here I have faith that King, Austin and Robins will do what’s needed to further strengthen the squad …..

There has to be more added to the squad, and it is becoming very clear that we are missing a natural ‘goal scorer’ in the Godden mold.
CDM is a concern, and has to be addressed, or we’ll be hanging on the hope that Sheaf can stay fit.
Burroughs doesn’t seem up to it, at RB, but then that isn’t his natural position so, square peg round hole.
There’s still 5 weeks left, and here’s hoping there are at least 3-4 players incoming. Perhaps even two or three loans, just to get the depth.

I’m actually in Lisbon right now. Speaking to some Sporting fans and they think he’s a god. But they know he will be off if SL get the right offer. But Coventry is very well known here!
My folks were there earlier this year and said the same. The people they spoke to couldn’t believe how they’d managed to sign him…and that’s Sporting Lisbon!

We have several million pounds worth of players potentially sitting on the bench with kitching and possibly mason Clarke, with midfield looking league 1 with sheaf getting injured and weetabix legs torp struggling too and an u23 striker force if Simms is out .
