Quickly followed by the Intergalactic Cup and the Imaginationland Shield.

Heard a very strong rumour fro one of my reliable sources that George Thomas will be coming on loan for the season.

Deal to be formalised 1st July when the window opens but was pretty much sorted once CCFC were promoted.

I’d enquire with United about their keeper Dean Henderson who played 48 times for Shrewsbury this season and had a blinding season!
I’d have him in on loan for the season and get rid of one of the other 2.

Highly rated by United though and they will likely try to find a higher level for him to play at. Great keeper though

Agree with above poster, great shout, but he'll almost definitely be loaned out to a Championship club next season you would think. United will want to see him push on rather than get comfortable in League One.

Should be an interesting window all round. It's normally a slow start in world cup years but with the new window closing before the domestic season kicks off it's 3 weeks less time for clubs to get business done. Will be interesting to see who's organised and who is in a panic post world cup and how that affects the trickle down the leagues.

We've got the nucleus of a squad already so this is probably the first window since I've been a fan that I haven't been concerned at how much needs to be done during a summer transfer window. That being said, Robins still needs to be diligent in the market, especially if key players are to leave. Excluding potential departures however the priorities should be a LB, LM (assuming Vincenti departs), GK and a ST.

Dean Henderson will be nowhere near League 1 next season. Wouldn't be shocked to see another PL club come in for him, assuming DDG will be Utd's keeper for another 6-8 years.

Any season long loans like George Thomas usually go through around July as that's when pre season starts. Love it to be true

I hope we keep Stokes, decent cover for LB and CB and a good pro to have amongst the younger players.

I'd be very surprised if he left. Robins isn't going to want to create more work for himself than necessary on the recruitment front. If a player can do a job then he should stay. Another LB is definitely needed though.

Dembele from Grimsby handed in a transfer request. Looked decent at their place but his stats for the season don't look great

Very good player in an awful team. Would take him all day long here. One for the future.

Dembele played in a team that bypassed him most the year.

Dembele is more of what we've already got, we've got Jones and this new signing from Dulwich, where would he fit in?

I think there is more to come from JCH if we sign him, just needs coaching. I think Robins does a good job working with strikers (McNulty alluded to it), I think he can improve JCH.

He was in Slug&Lettuce on Friday whilst I was attending a leaving do. Good to see he still takes time to come back to Cov!

There was talk of Crystal Palace being interested in him
As a south London boy I suspect that might be his preferred destination

Sorry I've had a beverage or three. Do you mean he's played in a team that bypass the midfield by hoofing and therefore he is not effective

Dembele looked great in the away tie at Grimsby but much more isolated in the game at the Ricoh, partly down to the fact his team mates didn’t really want to use him (and Grimsby were shite!)

Wow, just fucking wow.

Also Maddison is not yet as good a number 10 as Everton have, but you seem to think he's better than Sigurdsson or that dutch fella.

Wow

So because i'm petty i'm bumping this old thread, where when i suggested we should have been looking at a similar fee for Maddison as Charlton got for Lookman i was basically called a moron for suggesting he's even of a similar quality... Remind me again who's just been called up for England duty?
