Is Clayton Donaldson realistic? He’s 32 now, Blades fans think he’s done at Championship level but has hit double figures regularly. 11 goals and 11 assists for Blues in 2015/16, 15 goals in 2014/15 and 17 for Brentford in the season they got promoted. On the face of it would be a top signing for our level and a good foil for McNulty but maybe questions over his fitness

He mentioned in his statement when he opted to leave Villa that he'd had offers from Turkey, China and the MLS.

On the Maddison debate apparently Leicester are going to bid £40m for Jack Grealish

Surely he will link up with Lampard at Derby?

This may be a bit of a left field suggestion but Bury have just released Andrew Tutte, formerly of Rochdale and Man City. Still only 27 and has clocked up quite a few appearances at league one level. I watched him quite a few times playing for Dale and while he never set the world alight he was/is a good pro who runs and runs and not afraid to get his hands dirty either. His real asset is his versatility, being able to play anywhere across the middle 4 as well as RB/LB if necessary. A really handy option to have from the bench. Very good at pressing the opposition in to making mistakes too. Wouldn't cost a lot and wouldn't be put out at not starting every week.

Possible i suppose but i think a big pay day in America or China while he does his coaching badges probably has more appeal.

We need to sort that lot out.

An awful lot of players on there whose contracts are up next year.

That is a worry. It sounds like we’re only in negotiations with Hyam at the moment. Surely we’re going to be offering a host of others contracts?!

On reflection it wasn’t so much the veganism or even the mustard cords and wax jackets that put me off.
My hatred probably stems from the 3 bell ends I sat in front of (I was in the home section - you what? only myself to blame?!), that we lost(and were shite), and that I got soaked - not necessarily in that order.
Although I did hate losing to a village team, in their fucking mustard cords and wax jackets, and their air of confidence and friendly demeanour...it’s me isn’t it?
Bloody vegan arseholes...that was not on the menu btw.

Pleased the new guy is once again on a 2 year + 1 deal. I would expect some renegotiation with a few of the players

First thing you do is offer contract extensions to several players. They've announced Dom Hyam is negotiating which you'd think is a formality. Bayliss, mcnulty, maybe even Jones will be happening in the background now. Having seen previous clubs post promotion it usually happens. Just hope to wake up one morning to a lovely contract extension thread

Maddison transfer percentage will be key to our summer recruitment policy.
Really important that he moves early in the summer
Norwich need to sell and he wants the move, so fingers crossed it happens
Apparently MR gets the proceeds.

I suspect you may be wrong on this one Neal as so many clubs are after him
One of them will take a chance for sure if their medical team say his injury isn't too serious

We would not get £20m for him if he had stayed and played in League 2.

Nonsense. How do you work that one out if we didn’t get promoted with him in the team?

We could have been promoted from league one under mogga instead of being relegated 2 seasons ago which would mean we would have been in the championship last season it's fairly simple.
