Hope you're streaming it so SBT can spend 4 pages discussing whether it's going to go ahead, another 8 predicting when it'll kick off, another 16 discussing tactics during the stream and then finally 32 pages moaning and arguing about whether the final motivation was a "dick move" or if the result was worth waiting for.....

Personally, I'll be out Christmas shopping

If a load of the Stoke players have caught it, some could be suffering for weeks - may still affect them adversely, plus some of their players are out for quite a while iirc (Sawyers, Powell for sure)

Yeah hopefully a quick re arrangement...but that wont happen.

Remember last year we played Millwall away after their covid outbreak. They didnt seem at the races.

God knows if they will be able to field a side on Boxing Day

That given the majority of their injured players aren't likely back until Feb/March ours are likely to be back for the rearranged fixture & theirs aren't.

Tbf only 10 day isolation. So they will be back available , but likely not great fitness wise. Can only be good for us!

Stoke played QPR when they had 13 players out with COVID, but Rangers still forfilled the Fixture, they went complaining when the won there.
And as previously been said on here Stoke have 27 first team player and 7 u23s with squad numbers.
Fuckin shinanigans.

We are 19th in the form table with a paper thin squad and injuries to key players - none of their U23 counts as players unless they have played a league game - they’d be favourites to win - this is all nonsense

I have no doubt we would have beaten them this weekend and they weren't't favourites according too the bookies.

So they have conspired to get the game abandoned as they are frightened of playing a team that’s averaged a point a game the last 12 - makes sense

I'll go and see Spiderman. Spend most of the film moaning about how shit it is and then cheer right at the end.

Bit like a lot of our games this season really.

What you on about they are favourites. ???? They are a slightly better version of a huddersfield.

Fir a fact we would be favorites at home.

It will be those with covid plus close contacts who also have to isolate

I'm hoping Cov learn from this over the next few weeks and put in new precautions.

I know it sounds crazy at they'll be in a 'bubble' but distance inside, do team meetings over zoom or outside. All that stuff.

Chelsea missing 4 players due to covid yet in the EFL you just have to have 4 players that can spell covid

You don't have to isolate with close contacts do you?

We don’t know how many of stokes players are unvaccinated..if they aren’t they will have to self isolate for ten days as well ..so they don’t necessarily have to have Covid

Yeah which is good but it seems all these outbreaks are happening in the training grounds and not from the outside world. Therefore, take the precautions before, rather than wait for a couple of cases.

I know medical information is private but I hope football regulators are assessing and verifying who has covid.
I understand Manchester United had 19 players out but many were in the u23s and u19 squads.

Cancellations (if this is not true already) should be based on a % being confirmed specifically to have covid from the first team squad and not 3rd choice goalkeepers etc.

United reporting the currently have 7 first players available which is fair enough

Jesus, what has happened at Carrington. Don't they have about 30 players? I know they have a few injuries. But wow.

It is and a statistic I find hard to believe given the enormity of their first team squad.

I suspect there are a number of players with positive tests and a larger number of close contacts who haven't had two jabs
Fully vaccinated players can take daily lateral flow tests and not have to self isolate
