Could the game be called off? Anyone up in Stoke or live close?
Forecast looks similar to here which id say makes it unlikely to be called off. However looking at CVD message if its already bad up there that could swing it.Could the game be called off? Anyone up in Stoke or live close?

In summary, i have no idea and haven't really added much!
In laws have said it's a bit more than what we got and it's 'gone slushy'.Could the game be called off? Anyone up in Stoke or live close?
you mean like this morning where it seems to be raining in stoke?Unless we have a day of rain and clearing it will be off. The conditions for fans getting to the ground, in our present condition is too dangerous.
Sons girlfriend lives in Staffordshire.
Said it was really bad last night.
Last 15 minutes of her drive home last night took over an hour.
But a long way to go until tomorrow.
I'm going to swap my usual matchday footwear of Adidas trainers for a pair of walking boots.
Might paint 3 stripes on the side so I don't look too ridiculous

It’s all about energy for me. Bit concerning that KKH is out for a while as it means no rest for the already knackered MVE, which will likely mean getting caught out on the break pretty often. The team has become slower, more predictable, and it feels like we’re waiting for something to happen rather than forcing it. A big part of that is Torp being in and out. When he’s not fully fit, we lose the late runs, the counter-press, and the legs that protect us when we give the ball away. Without that box-to-box engine, we end up with more possession higher up the pitch and a massive space behind us. No surprise teams are running straight through us on the break. That's why we need to bring in No. 8 cover.
Then there’s Rudoni. Not blaming him, but his role has clearly changed. He’s dropping deeper, drifting wide, getting loads of touches, and everything slows down. Instead of runners going beyond the ball, everyone waits for it to come to feet. That makes us easy to set against. The stats back up this up: fewer chances, fewer switches, fewer aggressive runs, but lots of offsides and more goals conceded from transitions. That’s not bad luck, that’s how we’re set up. Frank mentioned after Birmingham that we have no cutting-edge. That's as much a structural thing as player form and tiredness.
After the Christmas schedule, Frank has had a full week of training. The FA Cup seems like a good chance to try out some changes in a real game. I think he will select his strongest team - his first-choice 11. The main goal will be to improve our patterns, quick, straight runs, faster ball movement, and better rest and defence, in preparation for Leicester.

No. Lampard just said close in his press conferenceIs he?
Are you talking about complacency? It does seem as though there's an element of 'expectation' rather than clear assertion now, but as somebody has mentioned elsewhere (can't remember where), it feels like teams have 'worked us out' a little and yes, combined with the obvious fatigue (from illness and lack of rotation / injuries) that we've dropped off and cannot properly change our style / approach. I agree about Rudoni - I think it's fair to say we all like him (we do don't we?) and appreciate him, but there's something about his inclusion since returning which has made the team dynamic falter. Back to basics with him, I think, and he shouldn't overcomplicate or believe that he can and should control everything - just my opinion. I think there'll be some familar faces in the squad and it might be more of an indication of who he thinks needs to 'show' a bit more, if only for two thirds or so of the game. I think Wright will be one of them. He should be. The ol' saying, 'Can he do it on a cold, wet day in Stoke?' or whatever the f*** it is - you get my drift. I'm not convinced by the guy, but always want him to prove me wrong. The team has become slower, more predictable, and it feels like we’re waiting for something to happen rather than forcing it.
