Marvin Ducksch dazzles with derby double as Birmingham beat leaders Coventry

Marvin Ducksch scored twice as Birmingham ended their seven-game winless streak with a 3-2 victory over Sky Bet Championship leaders Coventry. The former Germany international grabbed a goal in each half as fortunes ebbed and flowed in a derby fixture that delivered drama from the first whistle...

Sons girlfriend lives in Staffordshire.
Said it was really bad last night.
Last 15 minutes of her drive home last night took over an hour.
But a long way to go until tomorrow.

I live 10 mins from ground we had literally no snow where as South of here (Burton, Wolverhampton, Derby) had tons of the stuff. Definitely no issues here today although wrap up as its fooking freezing

Definitely should not be starting MVE or Grimes - they both need the extra week to be good to go against Leicester.
I'd be starting Wright and the 2 new loans, get them in to the swing of things ahead of next Saturday.
Would like to see Shepard start but don't see it happening.

Problem with Milan is that there isnt another right back fit. We also do have another week gap after this game

I would put Bidwell in for Kitching. Still has a slight concern over risking Woolf when we now need him for the next 2 league games. Maybe Perry should start too

Looking at some of these predicted lineups and remembering the sheer FURY of people who demanded a full strength team at home against Maidstone.

Had an oatcake for breakfast yet The Big G?

I lived up there for nearly twenty years until 2023 firstly at Trentham then Cheddleton.

Miss it very much.

They’ll be a meltdown after the game after they haven’t both played brilliant and scored a couple each

I’d play the same back 4 that’s going to start against leciester, they looked like they’d never played together last week, ( barring wolfenden ) maybe have a try at defending,

To follow on from the Hutchinson and Robbins spellings........can I remind posters that it's Shepherd (as in ......Shepherd). No need to misspell it to come up with other variations!

Shame it isn't available on TV. It would be nice to see how the new guys play and any of the youngsters. Does anyone know if there are any betting sites that might have the match, albeit on a thumbnail?

I thought the whole point was to give us cover and allow us to rest first team players.
If that's the case then we should rest Tats and EMC today as we now have that cover

We weren’t in with our best chance of promotion in a quarter of a century with a squad that looked shattered, but you know that.

Not the same but it is allowed on local radio online if you live out of cov and warks area - not allowed for league but it is for cup?

People acting like playing a game of football is akin to sky diving.

No chance of it being off based on how it is near Stoke at the moment.

Esse has already said he is playing so it wouldn't surprise me if both play. Not only would it give a couple of players a rest but we would get an idea how up to speed they are.

Esse is going to run them ragged. It's going to be fun to watch.

With sky diving you get a reserve chute - With a thin squad you don't get much in the way of reserve at all.
So in that case, yeah it's a good analogy if you want to view sky diving as precarious.
