Agree, except for Rudoni, as I want his foot to fully recover. I'd play the young lad, Shepherd, instead.

I get the impression we may not see him for quite a while.

I’d rest Eccles and maybe Rudoni. Not sure if Allen will be up for it. Recall Raphael and Obikwu and play them along with Shepard.

I will not say too much as it is important JAs privacy is respected in this time - But the gestures the club made yesterday, the shirts and Eccles' goal celebration gave off the impression this is something a cuts a lot deeper than losing an elderly relative who had a good innings

I just hope he is given as much time as needed to get his head straight, whatever has happened

What you doing in Lampard’s shoes if King is unreasonably leaning on you for a cup run? You’d surely defy him.

Wilson

Lati – Woolf – Perry – Bidwell

Eccles – Shepherd

Sakamoto – Andrews – Brau

Wright

I feel like Sakamoto could end up being second choice or certainly rotated more in his position soon, so I’m happy for him to start this one.

I don’t think Wright would take being named in a second XI very well but tough tits.

If it was me I’d be gunning for 2 signings this week so they can debut on Saturday and get right into the swing of things for the league games. But I’m sure that won’t happen.

Stoke have got QPR and then Middlesbrough at home after the Cup. Only a point off the playoffs and 4 off the automatics. The Cup absolutely will be low priority.

Two keepers on the bench and a load of kids, no regular first team player should be near this fixture

I wouldn't put it past a tactically cancelled match if its still icey at the weekend. Plenty of others with undersoil heated pitches managed it at the weekend, just to p1$$ us off

Why would they do that? It would impact them just as much.

Why would they want that to happen when it would just add to fixture congestion later down the line ? Surely just get it over and gone with. Play kids etc.

Will have had a week's rest. If lampard decides to go strong I'll back it. If he rotates that's obviously fine too

Not sure if FA has rules about how many changes allowed?

Wilson
KKH* Lati Woolf Bidwell
Eccles Shepherd Andrews
Siddall Toluwaloju Brau

Varney
Perry
Mantle
Critchlow-Woyo
Batanwi
James
Betjemann
Stidder
Ambursley

I've no idea about the injury status of the U21's so I'm just assuming they would all be available.

I'm assuming Allen isn't going to be available, and that KKH will be.

I would only play the likes of Eccles for an hour tops, and I would be tempted with leaving him out too and playing one of James or Betjemann

Then there's potentially the likes of Dausch, Moore, Yearn etc. who might be returning from loan periods.

If BTA is close enough to coming back maybe give him a half to get some minutes in his legs.

Do we think there's any chance that he'll play both Kitch and Woolfenden to give them more experience of playing together ahead of Leicester and Millwall?

Couldn’t give a monkeys about this games result. Get some new signings in the building and in the starting lineup for bed then in.

Without being disrespectful to the FA Cup, we’ve got bigger fish to fry this season.
