After Tuesdays result fans are buzzing, hopes soaring, expectation of surviving higher but to hope to achieve what looked a week ago to be improbable we still need atleast that striker promised for the last 2 weeks. Still not scoring enough goals from open play. What is the delay from the sisu (Fisher) end ? and if it is cost why can't those negotiating to buy us, or local business people put some money up, a loan, been done before.

We need a striker so we can put one on the bench at least so AT can change things on attacking front when we are losing.

Just gone too quiet for my likeing from the club end, not even any loan talk from Andy Thorn. I have said on here a number of times i believe sisu don't want this division and see division one as more affordable. Any local well heeled business persons publically offering to fund a 2 month loan would certainly put sisu (Fisher) on the spot wouldn't it.

Article in today's CET about the latest loan attempt 'hitting a snag'. Guess our latest target asking for a salary scuppered the deal...

Was going to be for free, but we couldn't afford his train fare

We used the rest of our transfer budget buying crisps for Nimely and Norwood, and even then it was just Ready Salted-no wonder we're struggling to attract players.

Yep, I think you're right. We need a striker or two to supplement what we have. What do we do if Nimley/McSheff lose form or are injured. Same with Platt. Options are what we need. I hope the Club are still actively looking into that.

Maybe beating Leeds was the snag. SISU think we have enough players to get out of the crap.

It wasn't even ready salted, there was a little blue packet inside the bag. Which would have been fine but when they got their crisps the bag was open and the blue packets were missing. Apparently the salt had been sold to Hibs to rub into a wound...
