Well it seems like it was worth it! Honoured to have supported this club through the dark times, this is the 2nd time my Dad has seen us rising up the divisions, days i never thought i'd experience with him a few years ago! Pretty emotional and extremely proud tonight! Bring on next season and the beautiful football the City play. PUSB

Throw in Newport away, monster queue to get into a tinpot ground and stand on an uncovered temporary stand in the pissing rain. Literally drenched to the bone. All to see an average performance culminating in a very fortuitous draw. Worth it in the end.

Yes, I remember that day. It was a lot farther than I thought, it was pissing down with rain, we were rubbish.

Highlights: Ever Fallen In Love playing when we got into the ground. JCH clattering into someone just after he came on for the first time since resigning.

Remember that day vividly. Getting out of League Two felt a long way off that day. Days like today however really make the days like that all worth it. You have to take the bad days to get the good days.

Exeter! Hell of a journey just after new year and it was freezing and we should've won. Lost 1-0 to an early goal

Yes mate, the ground seemed to be on top of a hill with a country lane leading upto it! Took an age! Good memories!

I’m still scarred by our first game after relegation from the Prem, away to Stockport. Rang my Dad on the way home, said that in a way it’d be a pity to only be down for a year As winning every week would be fun. Hmmmmmm....

Let me add Swindon away on a Tuesday or Wednesday then. Left after work with my usual crowd in the car about 5. Accident on whatever motorway you have to take and arrived at half time. No card machine at the random living room window they called a kiosk and so borrowed the cash from my brother. Saw from about 50 mins onward to see that lad we had on loan whose name I can’t recall score. Then took about 2.5 hours to get home as the same motorway was closed. Thankfully it wasn’t my turn to drive so beers were had in the passenger seat. Work was a challenge the next day.

And this one, got our vodka taken off us in the way in that we brought from the nearby Asda. Result was a shocker. I’ve grown up since then (ish).

Anyone remember that cup game away at Cambridge? First half hat trick from Luke Berry. Left at 60 mins, which is unlike me. I couldn’t stand there any longer.

Can’t believe that awful forest green game was only 2 seasons ago, really speaks to the miracles Robins has performed since then. Time to let the sky blue smoke bombs off in the garden. Wish I could get down to Broadgate to celebrate, the fans and the players deserve this!

Nah, I wasn’t that bad. Was next to someone who bought their girlfriend to their first game. Her I feel sorry for.

The season we got relegated having to watch Russell Slade manage a team in a white kit (and a shit centre back wearing number 7, still not over that) I saw our future as lingering around League 2 as we had in L1, flirting with relegation and maybe even succumbing. Can't believe what's happened in such a short time since, especially the improvement in kit and all the football stuff and that I guess

And when Mark Venus was manager, the game at Southend, and our fans were fighting each other. Good times, good times. Another cold day.

“Shudder” and not because of the weather. Stole a living as a manager he did. Although special mentions for Thorn and Slade. Christ, we’ve had some shite.

Oxford away was the low point for me. We were going down under Slade and chants of 'this is embarrassing' rang around our end. At that point I thought we'd be lucky to be playing in the championship again within the next thirty years!

When we beat Carlisle away , that was for me the beginning of the comeback , Mcnulty scored the winner , a person who helped us on our way

Drawing 1-1 away at Mansfield and down to 10 players was for me the main turning point for us climbing up to where we are now. That draw started a run of wins that allowed us to get in the playoffs. The rest, as they say is history.

Even Cambridge away, me and my mate queued for 20 minutes got to the front of the shitty food stand and they had no more beers. Fuming. Turned around and stood in a puddle.

I miss the days of catchy nicknames. You're right, the fat little twat's goals were crucial in our revival.

Was just thinking about that game. Also throw in the 1-0 win against Wycombe away the game before. It was a Tuesday night and was about the coldest I've ever been in my life. Fucking freezing.
