Anyone else feel Doug is priming to sell us? All of a sudden we’re an attractive proposition for investors.
I for one can't wait to hear @GIMOC reaction
Yep smells what its like to me. He's more than entitled to now, fair play to him.Anyone else feel Doug is priming to sell us? All of a sudden we’re an attractive proposition for investors.
Doubt it's that bad. King did offer 25 million before it was flogged to Ashley for 17m. Plus it has been running at a loss under Fraser. This will presumably have cost several tens and tens of millions of pounds. I wonder how it has been financed? Also he might want to open up bidding for a new main sponsor as well when it’s next due for renewal I reckon but it is simply amazing news
Or more than likely that Ashley has done exactly what he wanted. Held on to the stadium until we had the funds and made a decent profit with a quick turnaround. He isn’t stupid.I think it was a scenerio that Ashley and fraser can't do anything with the stadium without owning the club and after Newcastle possibly doesn't have the ambition for another club ownership. Likewise, if Doug wants to grow the club and then at some point sell it he has to own the ground too. They must have worked on a business plan where both will make some dosh when we reach the promised land and if/when we sell.
You and @shmmeee are Kings biggest critics with @Saddlebrains not far behind ….I for one can't wait to hear @GIMOC reaction
Now we can shut the doors on the council.
"Wise men say, Only fool love Bling
But I can't help, falling in love with you"
Get that on repeat this afternoon.
Utter nonsense. You and @shmmeee are Kings biggest critics with @Saddlebrains not far behind ….
They haven’t moved out of Coventry.
Some of the best news in the club’s history. Perfect time for forum point scoring.Incredible news
although no doubt the bedwetters will find fault …
They haven’t moved out of Coventry.
Unless it’s to sell the club I don’t see the point here. Costs loads to maintain and makes no money, that’s why it’s been a hot potato from day one.
