You're right I think.Something felt different while watching the game last night and I couldn't put my finger on it. Just watched the highlights and it clicked.
Am I right in thinking this was the first night game with the new floodlights?

No but they did really dim the lights in the stands while the enemy were on and it was really good. Wish the games could be like that.Something felt different while watching the game last night and I couldn't put my finger on it. Just watched the highlights and it clicked.

What's different with them? Look the same to me? More 'white' potentially?
Just having control of those lights is great.
Imagine the enemy coming on with the old lights, and someone tries the same, itll take 5minutes to come back on

LED lights rather than old fashioned incandescent ones
Its a whiter light I thinkYes but do they 'look' different?
I was told a few years ago by the ‘older lot’ that in the ‘70s/early ‘80’s if Mouldy Ol dough was on a jukey in a pub at an away game it would get repeat play. For such an uncultured bunch we've given the world a fair bit of music haven't we?
Lieutenant Pigeon was a fair bit before my time, but they remind me of the sort of thing you see in the front room of the Christ the King club

they still do, well the coming out in the dark bit, not the waiting 15 mins to put the lights back on.Coventry Blaze used to try that. Players used to come skating out in the dark with a few spotlights. Looked good, but the only problem was they had to turn the floodlights off 15 minutes before the game started as they have to cool down before they could come back on.
I never knew that about all about eve or adorable. The Primitives, Adorable, All About Eve backed up by Don Fardon and a holographic appearance by Frank Ifield.
That’s a coincidence. The other day I mused that City should have some limited edition shirts printed. Lieutenant Pigeon. Good to know nonsensical rambling isn't confined to just me
I could handle the lights being down in the bowl for a few mins when the players come out at night games.
